Popular game Developers Feral Interactive has announced that the much-awaited Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts will launch in early 2021 on both Android and iOS platforms. The news comes after a successful deployment for Company of Heroes onto iOS and Android earlier this year, and the paid version of the game did get enough attention and was successful.
Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts is the stand-alone expansion pack to Company of Heroes, a real-time Action Strategy game first introduced for PC players. Announced on April 5, 2007, it was a popular game during the time of release. Developed by Canadian-based RTS developer Relic Entertainment and Published by THQ, online operations of the game was later handled by SEGA. In the case of the mobile version, Feral Interactive is the publisher of the game. Feral Interactive is a leading publisher of games for the macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch platforms, founded in 1996 and based in London, England.
The game is set to offer two historic campaigns: the British armored operation to liberate the French city of Caen and the German Panzer Elite’s struggle to repel the allies’ attempts to cross the river Rhine into Germany. This premium expansion also sees the British 2nd Army and the Panzer Elite ready for action in Skirmish mode.
When will Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts release
Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts is set for iOS and Android launches in early 2021. More details on its release date and price will be transmitted in the new year. As confirmed by the publishers, Opposing Fronts will come as a DLC pack that will be available via in-app purchase for £3.99 / $3.99 / 4,49€.
