Cookie Run: Kingdom is set to release the new Version 6.9 update, “Catacombs of Silence”. The update will be available after maintenance, which will be held around 06:00 – 10:00 (GMT+9). The new update coming on September 24th, 2025, will bring a brand new story update along with new cookies, events, permanent content, and more!
Some portions of this update’s content may change before its release. The finalized changes will be available in the patch notes once the update is complete. As it is, the new update will be filled with new content such as new Cookies, New Episodes, Limited Events, Toppings, Treasures, QoL updates, and more!
Cookie Run: Kingdom Version 6.9 Update: New Cookie Characters
Beast Cookie: Silent Salt Cookie
- Rarity: Beast
- Type: Ambush
Silent Salt Cookie unleashes the power of the eclipse, summoning his steed Nox Black Salt to devastate enemies with the state of Silence Eternal. He charges forward, splitting the moon into an explosive strike that deals heavy damage.
At battle start, Silent Salt inflicts Fury of the Catacombs on the enemy with the highest ATK (preferring non-Safeguarded targets). As stacks build, the target eventually receives Punishment. If the target falls, Fury moves to the next strongest enemy.
Once your team’s HP drops too low, multiple enemies get hit with Wrath of the Catacomb, triggering the Silent Demise effect instantly. On top of all that, Silent Salt is immune to cooldown impairments and even gains buffs and shields if cooldowns are tampered with. He’s a monster of a Cookie and feels like a real game-changer.
Epic Cookie: Charcoal Cookie
- Rarity: Epic
- Type: Magic
Charcoal Cookie summons tombstones and releases vile spirits that wreak havoc by shackling enemies. His lantern consumes their power, and if enemies fall during the chaos, it absorbs even more energy.
When the lantern maxes out, it unleashes Cleansing Light, blasting enemies while also buffing Silent Salt Cookie when they’re together. In fact, pairing these two is practically encouraged; the synergy is that strong. Silent Salt receives boosted Darkness-type and Steel-type CRIT DMG thanks to Charcoal.

Episode 11: Silence of Conviction
White Lily Cookie’s story takes a dark turn as she ventures into the Land of Silence, home to the terrifying Silent Salt Cookie and vengeful spirits. The whole vibe of this chapter is eerie, mysterious, and epic, definitely one of the most atmospheric episodes yet.
- Clear Stage 11-30 to unlock the Castle of Silence Cookie Castle design.
- Equip both Castle of Silence and Fountain of Silence to activate a special effect.
Episode Effects
- Veil of Salt: Weakens your team’s damage and applies Salt Rock, a periodic HP loss debuff. Charcoal Cookie nullifies Veil of Salt and weakens Salt Rock, while Silent Salt is completely immune.
- Soul of Salt: From Stage 11-16 onwards, enemies become Enraged near defeat. With Silent Salt on your team, enemies instead suffer from Salt Dread, reducing their ATK and SPD.
Tactical Skill: Silent Strike
Summons a rune of black salt, dealing periodic damage. If enemies are already under Salt Dread, they become Petrified and locked under Salt Seal, preventing most skills. Silent Salt also shortens the skill cooldown.
Challenge Mode
For those who love a challenge, Episode 11 now includes a Challenge Mode. After clearing stages on Hard difficulty, you can unlock it and experiment with various difficulty enhancements to rack up Challenge Points. Best of all, attempts don’t consume stamina, so you can truly push yourself without worrying about resources.
New Bear Jelly Expedition Area
Clearing Episode 11 also opens up a new Bear Jelly Balloon expedition area, where you can collect Silence Yeast Ore. With sixty units available, this resource speeds up research at the Sugar Gnome Laboratory, making expeditions more valuable than ever.
New Resonant Toppings: Silent Toppings
The new Resonant Toppings that can only be equipped by specific Cookies have been added. These Toppings can be equipped with the Silent Salt Cookie and the Charcoal Cookie. The set effect of Toppings will activate regardless of whether they are regular or Resonant Toppings, as long as all of the Toppings equipped are of the same set.
When the Bonus effect of Resonant Toppings is enhanced, Resonant Toppings have a higher minimum Bonus Stat value than regular Toppings. Additional bonus effects of Resonant Toppings may differ from those of regular Toppings.
New Beascuit: Silent Salt Verdant and Wuthering
Play the new Beast-Yeast Episode 11 to obtain the two new Beascuit types, increasing Grass and Wind-type DMG. Obtain Beascuits of a higher grade upon clearing stages on the higher difficulty levels. Verdant and Wuthering Beascuits start at Lv. 20.
New Skill Element: Grass
A new skill element, Grass, is being added to the following Cookies:

New Treasures
Two new treasures are being added in this update.
- [Epic] Cursed Catacombs Candle: Silences enemies and applies debuffs after Silence ends. Non-Cookie targets instead suffer ATK and SPD reductions.
- [Epic] Unyielding Berry Necklace: Buffs your team’s ATK, CRIT%, and resistance to knockback. The buffs stack with activations and hit harder at full stacks.
Cookie Run: Kingdom Version 6.9 Update: Limited Event To the Barren! Cannon Run
Breaking away from the heavy lore and dark tones, the update also introduces Cannon Run, a chaotic new mini-game. You ride a chariot, blast away bosses, and collect power-ups like Missiles, Magnets, and ATK boosts along the way.
The mode lets you upgrade your chariot up to level 20 using Raspberry Coins, and rewards include valuable Blueberry Coins depending on your score and progress. It’s lighthearted, fast-paced, and a great way to blow off steam between tackling the darker story missions.
