My Friend Pedro: Ripe for Revenge is yet another brand new title from Devolver Digital which is slightly related to the popularly known My Friend Pedro. Devolver Digital has earlier announced that they plan to bring two mobile games later this year and it seemed like this is one of them and the other one is Devolver Tumble Time which was announced last month.
The developers earlier took to Twitter to tease Rip Revenge as their next mobile installment a couple of days back and players will be thrilled to know that the game is currently available for pre-registration on both the Google Play Store and App Store.
Free to download but pay to unlock the full version
The game is currently free to play but its premium version is priced at $2.99 to unlock all contents. There are 37 levels in total some of which will be vehicle-based with the developers introducing a brand new chibi aesthetic against the realistic proportions we saw in the console and PC version of My Friend Pedro.
From the trailer, it’s obvious the game lets you play by adhering to the instructions of a talking banana who wants to rescue his family. You’ll have to aim and shoot lots of goons in a cool fashion style.
My Friend Pedro is a stylish shooter that players have been anticipating to make its way to mobile for a while but as it stands, it seems the developers now have a new plan for mobile users and that is Ripe for Revenge.
When will My Friend Pedro: Ripe for Revenge release
According to the iOS store listing, the game is expected to release on August 5, 2021. Hopefully, Devolver Digital still has plans of bringing the actual My Friend Pedro title to mobile devices in the near future but right now mobile users will have to make do with Ripe for Revenge and hope the game will match the captivating and fun features of My Friend Pedro on console and PC when it launches on mobile this summer.
