A brand-new Digimon mobile title has officially been revealed, as DIGIMON UP! is set to launch on Android and iOS sometime in 2026. Announced by Bandai Namco Entertainment at the DIGIMON CON 2026, the upcoming title is described as a monster-raising RPG.
DIGIMON UP is a classic Digimon formula with a new look
At its core, DIGIMON UP! seems to follow the traditional Digimon loop. You will be able to raise, train, and evolve their Digimon partners, gradually building them up through different stages until reaching Mega Digivolution for each of them.
From what has been shared so far, each Digimon will have its own traits. The game also highlights feeding, training, and powering up mechanics, which longtime fans will get an instant grasp of.
Visually, DIGIMON UP! is going for a pixel-art style, which feels like a nice throwback to older Digimon titles. From the small previews shared, the art style looks clean and nostalgic, though it’s still early to judge the overall presentation.
One interesting detail is the inclusion of classic Digimon elements beyond just battles. The game will feature Digivices and Digimon Cards, so I’m expecting a mix of collection and progression systems alongside the core RPG gameplay.
There’s also confirmation that players will be able to raise and battle Digimon, although deeper combat details haven’t been revealed yet. At the moment, there isn’t much in terms of full gameplay footage, so most of the experience is still under wraps.
