Dragon Quest Champions is now available for pre-registration by Square Enix, where they can now pre-register for the game via Android and iOS in Japan. Also, they have released a promotional video to showcase the gameplay and the battle mechanics.
Dragon Quest Champions offers an adventurous RPG experience
Dragon Quest Champions is an RPG adaptation and addition to the famous Dragon Quest series. The players will be a combatant who participates in a competition to fight and show off their mettle. The game will be a melee command battle RPG, meaning players can have an interactive combat system to combine and mix up their moves against the enemies. The tournament will test the might of the players against equally challenging enemies and monsters.
The game was first announced to be released back in January 2023, before having a closed beta test in Japan. This time around Square Enix has released a promotional video for the game in a bid to give the interested fans and players a taste of what the game has to offer.
According to the video, the game will retain the classic Dragon Quest controls making it easier for players to adjust. Players will control a team of three characters, pitting them against monsters and other parties in gripping battles, and also in three-way melee battles as more players join the fight.
Players from Japan can now pre-register for the game
Not much information is available as of now regarding the availability of the game elsewhere. At the moment, there is no information from the Western arms of Square Enix on whether it will be localized for North America and Europe. No concrete information is available regarding the release date for the game either.
