DUPER: Social War Game is now live on mobile, bringing a mix of strategy, diplomacy, and a bit of head scratching. This is kind of a unique experience because there is so much to dig into, and the learning curve seemingly goes beyond the initial simple strategy elements.
DUPER features 5-player free-for-all matches with 15 to 30 minute sessions
You’re dropped into a 5-player free-for-all match, where the goal is to build, trade, and sometimes straight up betray others. Every match runs for around 15 to 30 minutes, so it doesn’t drag on. Chess, Poker, Trading, and even Among Us’ social deception, everything is part of this.
What I like here is how many systems are packed in. You’re managing resources like Gold, Cards, and Gems, building units like tanks and planes, and at the same time, you’re also messaging other players to make deals or mislead them, so it’s kind of also what you say and who you trust.
There are also multiple ways to win. You can go for territory control, survive till the end, or even pull off a card-based win with a straight flush. Sometimes you might actually benefit more by helping someone else win, depending on how you play your resources.
The game is free to play and includes casual, ranked, and tournament modes, along with some progression systems like chips and rewards. There’s also mention of real cash rewards, although that likely depends on how competitive you get.
