So, OneState RP is finally live with a fully reworked open-world map that feels more alive, and with the improved onboarding experience, you won’t feel lost when you first enter the world like other RPs out there. Now, as someone who had spent countless hours on GTA RP on PC, I’m happy to experience that similar feeling now on mobile with OneState.
You know a game is really good when it has already managed to garner such a huge player base, crossing over 10 million downloads, and even ranked #2 grossing action games on iOS in the US. I mean, the servers can hold up to 700 players at once, and what shocked me most is that no bots are roaming around.
And no, I’m not glazing it just because of these insane numbers, as the gameplay and freedom it offers back it up. Set in a modern Los Angeles setting, you can be whoever you want to be, though everyone has to start with small jobs and then climb their way to the top.
You can customize your look, be part of a car culture, and build your reputation
Personally, I’ll try to be a gangster or become a CEO, as I feel that the most fun roles in an RP. Plus, if you want to be morally right, you can choose to be a police officer, a soldier, or even a medic. Like GTA RP, you get that proper RP feel as you decide your path and work on climbing ranks and building your reputation on the way.
Overall, this title reminds me a lot of my GTA RP days in the Grand RP server, especially with the customization and freedom. You’ll love it too, as you can style your character, collect and upgrade cars based on real-life models, and drift around. So, if you’re into RP games, this one is a must-try thanks to its cinematic visuals, realistic physics, day/night cycles, and more.
