Finally, the wait of the entire FIFA Mobile community is over! EA Sports has finally announced the global release date of FC Mobile and its next month on September 26, even before the official release of the game’s console which will go live on September 29, 2023. FC Mobile will be available to download as a content update on Google Play and App Store for all existing players.
Recently EA showcased the game’s official reveal trailer and further revealed in their official blog, what players can expect from FC Mobile as its gears up for a global launch. EA further announced that Vinícius Júnior will be the cover star for the global version of FC Mobile with the Real Madrid winger being the game’s face for Nexon’s Asian-specific versions as well for FC Mobile Korea and Japan.
Introducing Vinícius Júnior, the game’s latest cover star
Ahead of the next season, EA has announced that Vinícius Júnior or Vini Jr, the starman from Real Madrid and Brazil National Team will become the cover athlete for EA Sports FC Mobile. Vinícius will be replacing Kylian Mbappé (Global) and Heung-min Son (Asian version) who had been the game’s face for the past few seasons.
Vinícius has already made a name for himself as the world’s game, becoming a global star who’s burst onto the footballing scene with Real Madrid. Vini Jr. exemplifies the values of energy, skill, and creativity, while also having a knack for the spectacular.
Vinícius himself is thrilled to get this opportunity as he described, “I’m excited to be featured as the cover star for EA SPORTS FC MOBILE and look forward to sharing this excitement with fans worldwide,”. “Football is more than just a sport, and to play a part in inviting more people into this celebration is a dream” said Vini Jr.
EA will be releasing weekly feature deep dives ahead of the game’s launch
According to the official blog from EA, the devs are set to release a set of five deep dives every week starting August 24, 2023, for the next month to keep the players excited and give a heads-up of what they can accept from the upcoming game. Furthermore, EA has given a complete lineup of the upcoming deep dives as well:
1. Look and Feel
As showcased in the game’s limited beta that has launched recently, FC Mobile introduces a new Broadcast Package that brings new match intro scenes, improved goal replays, dynamic camera angles, and newly updated commentary to bring players closer to the action.
2. Gameplay
EA Sports FC Mobile is set to bring a new Elite Shooting System that makes use of a realistic shot system that better reflects real-life trajectories. Additionally, players can take command of the pitch with new Impact Controls like Power Shot, Hard Tackle, and Knock-On and create memorable moments. The game is also set to take on a mobile-first approach bringing Dynamic Game Speed for faster and smoother gameplay.
3. Locker Room
For the first time ever, introducing the new Locker Room feature! Players to customize their logo, set their crest, jersey, emotes, and even the match ball in the new Locker Room. Customize your team and players to fit your preferred style. Adjust your star players’ kit numbers and kit appearance in Locker Room, a centralized customization hub.
4. UCL Tournament
With EA keeping hold of the UEFA license, it is needless to say the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League, and the UEFA Europa Conference League will be a major addition to FC Mobile. Players can now get the taste of their own UCL journey by taking one of the 32 qualified clubs from the Group Stages to the Finals.
5. Unrivaled Authenticity on Mobile
As expected from every iteration of FIFA Mobile and now FC Mobile, the game comes with the unique licensing portfolio of EA Sports FC, which includes more than 18,000 players, 500 teams, 100 venues, and 20 leagues.
EA Sports FC Mobile is the only place on mobile where players can play the iconic UEFA Champions League, Premier League, Bundesliga, and La Liga. The game also features True Player Personality by reflecting authentic player traits with more attribute impact and true-to-life animation diversity.
Become a Founder with the FC Mobile Founders event
Additionally, there will be special rewards for a few players in FC Mobile after its global launch. Beginning August 24th UTC, the Founders event will be held in the current ongoing season of FIFA Mobile. Becoming a Founder reserves the spot to receive special Players, customization items, and unlock access to the special Founders Premium Star Pass on FC Mobile when it launches! Although EA is yet to reveal the detailed specifics on how to become a Founder, with the Retro Stars event ending on August 24, it is expected that Founders will be the final event of the current FIFA Mobile season and act as a transition, similar to the Preseason events from the past.
