EA Sports has recently announced the global release date of EA Sports FC Mobile. The world’s game, FC Mobile is scheduled to go global on September 26, 2023. Recently EA announced in one of its official blogs, EA Sports FC Mobile will arrive as an app update for all existing Android and iOS users and will feature Cross-Regional Play!
Additionally, EA has also guided the existing players on how to prepare for the new upcoming game and the upcoming season transition. EA promises to bring back the community-favorite Cross-Regional play
Ever since the inception of FIFA Mobile, the game has been a global sensation. Similar to actual football or soccer, the game hasn’t been tied by geographical borders. Players from all parts of the world have played the game that portrays authentic football with and against each other in PvP and League vs. League matches.
In FIFA Mobile 21, EA had announced that there will be area-specific servers for the game to ensure smooth PvP gameplay implying players who had till now played with their international mates can now no longer play together due to server restrictions. This announcement from EA was met with widespread criticism and discontentment from the FIFA Mobile community.
Finally, from the upcoming season of EA Sports FC Mobile, EA has finally announced the return of Cross-Regional Play. Although no further specifics have been revealed by the devs, it is expected that players from all around the globe can now finally play with each other in Leagues and PvP matches from the new season.
Players can prepare for the new season from the upcoming Founders event
The most-awaited Founders event as EA revealed earlier is going live on 24th August UTC. The Founders event is set to replace the Preseason event from seasons past that acts as a transition for players moving from the current to the next season. Players will get a final chance to celebrate and play with their existing team and prepare to build their club’s history for the next season.
Becoming a Founder reserves the spot to receive special Players, customization items, and unlock access to the special Founders Premium Star Pass on FC Mobile when it launches! Additionally, as players play the event and gain special Players from the event, the same players will be carried over to FC Mobile in their new squads but with a much lower OVR than the current season.
Players who have been playing the game from past seasons, know with the above-mentioned players, EA have referred to the Now and Later players from the Preseason event of previous years. It has been a tradition for players to receive an Elite or lower OVR version of the player that they have received as a Now and Later Player from the Preseason event. EA is set to reveal more on the Founders event at a later date.
