eFootball has kicked off the new 2025 season titled “New Season Kickoff” on the bank of the major v4.0.0 Season Update that brought us weather options, gameplay features, assist control, and more fantastic additions. While these are the notable aspects of the new update, we also need to look at the regular season update arrivals, including new players and epic cards, rewards that have been offered, and more, which we will cover in this article.
eFootball 2025 v4.0.0 ‘New Season Kickoff’ update overview
Startup Campaign
To kick off the new Season of football entertainment, a Startup Campaign is now live. Featuring players from Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona, you can get them by completing events and missions under the campaign. Single booster cards of Lewandowski and Leroy Sane are available as the flashiest options.
“Welcome to eFootball” Campaign
The celebrations for the new update continue with more freebies as we get a “Welcome to eFootball” Campaign featuring yet another Lionel Messi card, with an overall rating of 97. Well, this is a special card to name it, as it has a Double booster in effect, just like the premium packs.
New Players added
As usual, the Nominating Contracts, POTW players, and other featured packs arrived with the latest pack of players. Debuting for the first time as double booster cards were FC Barcelona’s Ronaldinho, Deco, and Giuly. Along with them, 8 Highlight players and 139 active players will be available in the Special Player List.
Daily Game updated
The Daily Game rewards have been refreshed and restarted as well. You can now earn exciting new cards. Among the standout rewards are double booster cards for Franck Ribéry, David Beckham, and Tony Adams, and alongside these legends, other solid player options are also present.
Another point to note is that the rewards path will also give chance deals for a pack that has Didier Drogba in it, alongside other featured players. These Chance Deals will be helpful to open that pack of 50 cards.
Updated Match Pass
As we enter a new season, we will be getting more unique rewards since we have had notable new features with the new update. In addition to the free Regular Match Pass, you can unlock more rewards with the Value Match Pass or Premium Match Pass using eFootball Coins.
