eFootball CONNECT has officially gone live, and KONAMI has now revealed everything coming to eFootball 2026 starting June 4, 2026. With the football world entering international tournament season, the game is launching a massive Football Festival campaign packed with free cards, national team events, fresh Epic players, new gameplay skills, and plenty of coins and rewards. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Football Festival Campaign in eFootball 2026.
eFootball 2026 June 2026 update and the Football Festival Campaign explained
Football Festival Campaign brings free Messi, Yamal, and Coins
The Football Festival Campaign begins on June 4, 2026, and will run as the first major international football celebration inside eFootball 2026.

As part of the login rewards, you can get Show Time Lionel Messi and Lamine Yamal cards for free. KONAMI also confirmed that by completing campaign conditions, you can sign up to 10 Highlight players from the Argentina and Spain national teams.
The new Campaign Hub is focused on national teams and flag collection. You collect flags by playing against squads using players from different national teams, and upgrading them into Gold Flags gives even more points and rewards. KONAMI also confirmed that you can earn up to 310 eFootball Coins through the campaign hub progression system.
World Cup-style tournament event arrives
A new football festival-themed event is also arriving, titled International Cup 2026. You can pick your favourite national team, progress through group stages and knockout rounds, and attempt to win the tournament. KONAMI says the mode is inspired by the atmosphere and structure of real international football competitions.

From June 13, 2026, onwards, “Players of the Day” cards will also begin appearing daily. Footballers who perform well in real-life matches in the World Cup will receive special cards the next day, and daily Challenge Events will reward Chance Deals for these player lists.
Friend Invite and Friend Match campaigns go live
Two separate social campaigns are also launching on June 4. The Friend Invite Campaign allows you to invite new players into eFootball 2026. If invited users complete the required objectives, both players can earn up to 1,000 eFootball Coins.

The Friend Match Campaign also returns, and by playing Friend Matches against five different players, you can unlock Epic Steven Gerrard for free.
National Team packs and selections revealed
KONAMI has also announced the highly awaited national team packs. They are divided into two, the Premium and Regular packs. Portugal and England will be getting the Epic card treatment in the pack, while the rest will have single booster cards with a Manager.
The Portugal National Pack includes Roberto Martinez as manager alongside Epic Cristiano Ronaldo, Vitinha, Nuno Mendes, João Neves, and Bruno Fernandes. England’s National Pack includes Thomas Tuchel and players such as Epic Harry Kane, Marc Guéhi, Anthony Gordon, Elliot Anderson, and Ezri Konsa.

On June 8, National Team Selections for Japan and Brazil will be released. Then, on June 11, National Team Packs for Turkey, France, Germany, and the Netherlands arrive alongside National Team Selections for Indonesia, South Korea, and Iraq. All managers get an upgraded 90 Proficiency.
New Attacking Surge Show Time skill debuts
A brand-new Show Time skill called Attacking Surge is also making its debut. The skill increases a player’s speed while they are in the attacking half and a teammate has possession of the ball, so the forward runs will much more aggressive. Epic Johan Cruyff, Filippo Inzaghi, and Jordi Alba will be the first players to receive the new skill.
Keisuke Honda arrives as new 30th Anniversary Legend
KONAMI has officially confirmed Keisuke Honda as a brand-new Legend arriving in eFootball 2026. Honda will release as a special 30th Anniversary card on June 4. Alongside him, Epic Shinji Kagawa and Makoto Hasebe are also joining the game during the campaign period.
Community leaks have already hinted that even more Japanese legends and Epics could arrive during the international football season when the v5.5.0 update was released. They might be arriving with National Team packs, so it could be interesting to see how things unfold.
