The results are in, and EVOS SG picks up another win and proves to the world why they are known as Singapore’s best Mobile Legends: Bang Bang professional esports team. In this very first season of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Singapore, EVOS SG players: Potato, Girl, JPL, swoop, Pokemon, and Dagger was bestowed with the title of season 1 Champions.Â

The Regular Season
Through the 4-week long regular season, EVOS SG netted 6 wins and only 1 loss, landing them at the 2nd seed overall.
Their only loss was to Kingsmen, who placed 2nd overall as the runner-up in Season 1 of MPL SG. Despite losing Soul in this season, they still managed to pull through the season and performed remarkably well.
The Playoffs
Over the weekend, all 8 teams who participated in the regular season were invited to play in the playoffs. The 1-4 seeds were placed in the Upper Bracket, while the 5-8 seeds were placed in the Lower Bracket.
Losing in the Upper Bracket meant moving down to the Lower Bracket, and losing in the Lower Bracket meant getting eliminated. Aside from a single loss to Notorious Villains in the first round of the playoffs, EVOS SG maintained a clean slate throughout.
The Grand Finals
Finally, EVOS SG makes it to the Grand Finals, to come face-to-face with fan-favorite Kingsmen. Despite losing a Bo3 to them during the regular season, EVOS SG enacted their revenge well and swept them out of the competition in a 3-0 win to claim the title of Champions.
Final thoughts
EVOS are seemingly making their mark on esports in recent months, with EVOS Esports winning the MPL ID S7 cup just recently, and now with the MPL SG S1 trophy in tow as well. We can expect to see both these teams and their respective runner-ups perform at the upcoming Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2021 coming this June.
