Epic Games never fails to disappoint its fans by doing Fortnite crossovers with popular franchises. The developers behind the blockbuster game have created epic crossovers with IPs from Marvel, Star Wars, and Dragon Ball Z. If the latest leaks and rumors are to come true the world of Fortnite will include Doctor Who very soon.
Most recently, data miners revealed that X-23 from the X-Men series of Marvel Comics will get added to the game. Now, two prominent Fortnite leakers have revealed that the blockbuster battle royale may join hands with the Doctor Who franchise.
Leaks suggest a collaboration between Fortnite x Doctor Who is currently in the works
According to popular data miner FNBRintel, the developers at Epic Games is currently developing a crossover to include items and characters from the Doctor Who universe. FNBRintel has also mentioned that since the development is still in its early stages, it will take a few months to finish and release it in the game.
Another credible data miner ShiinaBR has also tweeted about the upcoming crossover where she said, “A Doctor Who collaboration is coming to Fortnite in the future, according to @FNBRintel. I was also shown evidence of this collaboration, so I can confirm that this claim is real.”
The Doctor Who universe is vast and many popular actors like Matt Smith, David Tennant, and Jodie Whittaker have portrayed the eponymous doctor. The popular show by BBC is one of the longest-running shows in the history of television.
The next actor who’s confirmed to play the Doctor is Ncuti Gatwa and production for the latest season will start in November. A skin featuring the new Doctor might release in Fortnite in the upcoming months to tease the upcoming season.
