Famous actors have always voiced significant storyline characters in Fortnite, and the game hasn’t shied away from putting their visages in in-game clothing. The head of The Foundation, who is voiced by and incorporates the actual physical structure of Hollywood Superstar Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, is a prime example of such a partnership. According to a recent hint by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, a Fortnite x The Black Adam crossover might be available very soon in the game.
The Foundation was uncovered during his rescue mission for the loopers and Agent Jones to the flipped side of the island during The Last Reality live event in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 Finale. For the next few days, the disclosure became viral on the internet until the servers were live and players saw the new Chapter 3 island.
The Rock hints at the Fortnite x Black Adam collaboration set to happen in Chapter 3
The Rock made a visit at a recent event and discussed a variety of topics, including his upcoming film The Black Adam and the ever-increasing ties with Fortnite. “I got to tell you all – thank you so much for the crazy response of me becoming The Foundation, but it’s also been such a pleasure working with Epic Games,” he stated.
“We are very excited to show you what we have planned for the future. Speaking about the future, you will also know me as Black Adam in the future,” he said further.
Since the film will hit the theatres on October 21, the Black Adam cosmetics are more likely to arrive in Chapter 3 Season 4. It is being speculated that the skin in the Fortnite The Black Adam crossover will be a Battle Pass costume, as Fortnite has always included popular characters from film and comic book franchises as part of the pass each season. Loopers are still waiting for Indy Jones to be unlocked from their Battle Pass so they can sprint out that boulder falling from the high land, as suspicion about the cosmetic grows.
