Halloween is almost upon us and Epic Games is preparing to add the spookiest nightmares in the upcoming Fortnitemares event in Fortnite. The developers of Fortnite tweeted that the event will be starting from October 18 and will most likely continue past October 31, 2022. Players are already getting hyped for all the items coming to the game in the upcoming weeks. A lot of new items will be added to the in-game shop. The famous island will also get revamped when the update goes live in a few weeks.
Fortnitemares 2022 will feature a new mini-boss and amazing skins
In the teaser clip shared on Twitter, a metal wolf-like figure can be seen it. This figure will most likely be featured in the upcoming Halloween event other than that Epic Games has not revealed much. Although in the tweet they have written “Tis’ the season of screams, bad dreams, and all monstrous things.” So, get ready to experience a spooky and horrifying Halloween this year.
Although Epic Games has not revealed much about the upcoming Fortnitemares update, data miners have taken to Twitter to suggest some details. According to Shiina on Twitter, a new mini-boss could be added to the game as part of the event.
Earlier this year some fans submitted concept arts in a competition held by Epic Games. Two such skins have already been revealed. One of them looks like a fallen angel type with a large scythe and chains while the other skin also features a giant scythe along with a hand in place of the head. These two skins will most likely be added when Fortnitemares begin on October 18.
According to another data miner, HYPEX jumpscare zombies from last year and zombie chickens will also be a part of the update. The developers have most recently amped up the chickens and made them more aggressive. However, HYPEX was not able to reveal any details about the looks of the jumpscare zombies or the zombie chickens.
Apart from these fans are also requesting the developers to bring classic pop culture figures like Michael Myers and Ghostface to the game. More details about the Fortnitemares update will be revealed in the upcoming weeks.
