Gameloft released Heroes of the Dark: A strategic RPG with PvP and PvE elements

Gameloft SE, the well-known game developers and publishers have released a new fantasy strategy RPG game called Heroes of the Dark, which is set in the Victorian era. The game is currently soft-launched on Android and iOS.

Players need to work on their empire from scratch and then take on enemies by building up the strongest army they can. The game features vampires, humans, and werewolves, who are the three main groups vying for power in the dystopian world but also working together when needed.

The game features strategic gameplay where you not only have to fight but work on gaining the resources you’ll need to sustain your powerful army.

There seems to be quite a story to the game as well, where the moon has been destroyed by an act of war and the skirmish between the different three sides is for the powerful Moon Crystals and for control over the Heart of Tenebris, a moon artifact that can control the tides of fate.

Delve in to PvP and PvE battles

There’s PvP action too, where players can partner up with other players or fight against them in fast-paced 5v5 battles. When you’re not fighting, you can work on your HQ and upgrade your stats. 

Currently, the game is still region-locked to Bulgaria, Romania and the Philippines. You can download it from the Google Play Store through this link.

How to download Heroes of the Dark

In case the game isn’t available in your region on the Play Store, you can download the app using TapTap. The steps to do this are as follows:

1. Download the app from the TapTap App Store. Search ‘Heroes of the Dark’, or simply click here.
2. Install the app once it’s downloaded the files and then click on ‘Open’
3. Once you’ve opened the game, you’ll have to download around 800 megabytes of additional data, so sit back while that happens. When the additional data is installed, you can play the game!
