Genshin Impact 2.7 Leaks: Upcoming characters
Yelan and Kuki Shinobu are the upcoming characters for the Version 2.7 Update. Yelan is a 5-star Hydro character and hails from Liyue. Until now, there has been no mention of her in the game. She is a very mysterious person and evidently claims to be working for the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
Kuki Shinobu should be a 4-star Electro character and is the sidekick of Arataki Itto. She also has the title of Deputy Leader of the Arataki Gang. Players can get details information about them from here.

Genshin Impact leaker UBatcha, has stated that there will be no changes for floor 9 and floor 10 of Spiral Abyss. This means the Leyline disorder will be the same, as well as enemy lineups for the chambers. However, floor 11 and floor 12 will have different disorders along with different enemies. - Phase 2: The mobs hit by the skill have all RES -12% for 8s (max 3 stacks).
- Phase 3: The character’s next Normal attack procs a shockwave, up to once per 1.2s.

The exact details are still unknown but from the looks of it, there will be A Chasm-related Archon Quest, which makes perfect sense. The release of Yelan also suggests her story quest which is “Umbrabilis Orchis Chapter: Act I”. There will also be a Hangout Event for the new upcoming character Kuki Shinobu.
Genshin Impact 2.7 Leaks: Upcoming weapons
Beta leaks suggest that the Version 2.7 update will have a new character Yelan and she will be a Hydro Bow user. From the current trends of characters release, each and every one of them arrives with a signature weapon and Yelan will be no exception to that trend. Aqua Simulacra is a leaked weapon, that will be Yelan’s Signature weapon, overviewing the stats the weapon looks really impressive even with a low Base attack of 542 which is traded off with high Crit Damage of 88.2%.

- Base ATK: 542 (Level – 90)
- Substat: 88.2% CRIT DMG
- Weapon Passive: Refinement Rank 1
The Cleansing Form
The HP is increased by 16%. When there are opponents nearby, the DMG which can deal while equipping the weapon is increased by 20%. This will take effect whether the character is on-field or not.
Fading Twilight (Bow)
- Base ATK– 565(Level – 90)
- Substat– 30.6% Energy Recharge
- Weapon Passive– Refinement Rank 1
Radiance of the Deeps
It has three states which are Evengleam, Afterglow, and Dawnblaze, which increase DMG dealt by 6%/10%/14% respectively. When attacks hit opponents, this weapon will switch to the next state. This weapon can change states once, every 7s. The character equipping this weapon can still trigger the state switch while not on the field.
One of the four upcoming events will reward players with the free four-star Bow Fading Twilight. This bow seems like a support-type weapon for sub-DPS characters and has a very high base attack of 565 along with a good weapon passive.
Final Thoughts
All the information provided here is from 2.7 beta and is subjected to changes. Therefore, players should take all of this with a grain of salt. The upcoming version will have the debut banner of Yelan, who from the looks of it, seems like a very good character to use, since she may provide an alternative to Xingqiu’s Hydro application, with her special elemental burst.
