Genshin Impact, a well-received open-world role-playing game, has just released an announcement about a ‘huge’ event that would soon take place in Sentosa, Singapore. HoYoverse‘s message to their dear Singaporean Genshin Impact players says that the giant Paimon balloon is on its way to Singapore. As Singapore will be the second stop of the Giant Paimon’s Global Endless Journey event, which began in London, United Kingdom on the 2nd of October till the 4th of October, 2022.
Genshin Impact: Giant Paimon Balloon and its Global Endless Journey
The creator of Genshin Impact, HoYoverse, announced on the 27th of September, 2022 that a sizeable inflatable boat decorated with Paimon, the game’s well-known mascot and/or emergency food, will travel around the world as part of the Giant Paimon’s Global Endless Journey event. The first part of the event was held in London, United Kingdom on the 2nd of October, 2022 and was very successful in meeting all the Genshin Impact fans from around the area.
The event in London has been widely successful and included a huge range of events. From “Butlers Wharf Pier Fans Meet-up”, and “Genshin Impact Snap Points along River Thames Event” to the “#PaimonJourney Watch Point @Canary Wharfs”.
The second part of the event will happen in a very different location. Paimon’s Drifting Voyage will soon kick off on the other side of the world Singapore. On the 28th of October, 2022, a massive inflatable Paimon is about to set out on a river drifting journey in Palawan Beach, Sentosa, Singapore. Fans waiting to get out on an endless journey with Paimon and meet other Genshin Impact fans at a huge event.
The Giant Paimon’s Endless Journey is now in Sentosa, Singapore
The Giant Paimon will visit Sentosa island of Singapore, which will come on the 28th of October, 2022 and will be staying up until the 3rd of November, 2022. There will be many different events for the Genshin Impact fans that will be held and players can enjoy them. One such event is the on-site Photos event where fans can even win prizes for participating.
The mechanics of the event will be for those who photograph the enormous Paimon balloon and upload them to HoYoLAB will be eligible to win Genshin Impact merch. The event will be running from the 28th of October, 2022 to the 6th of November, 2022. The announcement of the results will be on the 11th of November, 2022.
In order to participate, the fans would be able to take part by uploading photos taken on-site at the Singapore giant Paimon balloon event to HoYoLAB and using the hashtag #paimonjourney. The Travelers online will then be randomly choosing 10 entries who meet the above requirements, and they will be awarded the prize.
Final Thoughts
The winner of the said event will then be eligible to take home a Genshin Impact Character Standee of a random character, which is a very rare official merch of Genshin Impact. Many players are eager to see more offline events for Genshin Impact. This is a massive event that people loving the game will surely go to as they have different conventions and events.
