HoYoverse has officially announced that Genshin Impact Version 4.7, titled “An Everlasting Dream Intertwined,” is set to launch on June 5. This highly anticipated update introduces three new characters, a new long-term challenge domain, and a tower-defense mini-game, expanding the rich tapestry of the game’s universe.

With the upcoming release, players can look forward to meeting Clorinde, a five-star Electro sword wielder from Fontaine, along with Sigewinne and Sethos. Each character brings unique abilities and gameplay mechanics to the table. Clorinde utilizes a distinctive Bond of Life mechanic during her “Night Vigil” state, allowing her to switch between piercing pistolet attacks and a powerful sword lunging attack.
Sigewinne, a healer and head nurse at the Fortress of Meropide, enhances her healing powers through the Bond of Life accumulated across her team. Sethos, a new four-star archer, excels in firing piercing Electro arrows, adding strategic depth to combat.
The update also introduces a new monthly reset challenge domain called “Imaginarium Theater” located in a hidden chamber within Mondstadt Library. This domain challenges players with multiple levels of combat difficulty and limits participant characters to those of designated elements. Rewards for conquering these challenges have been significantly enriched, offering up to 620 Primogems monthly, new character photo poses, and first-time completion bonuses.
Tower-defense mini-game and visual teasers
In addition to character and domain updates, Version 4.7 brings a fresh tower-defense mini-game titled “Mutual Security Enhancing Simulation.” This game mode allows players to strategically deploy monster troops in both offensive and defensive setups, adding variety to the gameplay experience.
Furthermore, the update caps off with a sneak peek into Natlan, the new nation set to make its debut later this year, showcased in a captivating one-minute video clip during the Genshin Impact Version 4.7 Special Program. This teaser has heightened anticipation among the game’s community, eager to explore more of Genshin Impact’s expansive world.
