Genshin Impact Version 5.3 Remembrance of Jade and Stone Chronicled Banner: Who Should you Pull

Genshin Impact Version 5.3 introduces a Chronicled Wish Banner in Phase 2, going live from the 21st of January, 2025 till the 11th of February, 2025. The Version 5.3 Chronicled Banner will feature 5-star characters from the region Liyue.

Genshin Impact Version 5.3 Chronicled Banner Details

During the “Remembrance of Jade and Stone” event wish, you can freely select and set a course for your preferred 5-star character. The Event exclusive 5-star characters available are

• “Beyond Mortality” Baizhu (Dendro)
• “Lonesome Transcendence” Shenhe (Cryo)
• “Plenilune Gaze” Ganyu (Cryo)
• “Childe” Tartaglia (Hydro)
• “Vigilant Yaksha” Xiao (Anemo)

If players lose the 50/50 they will obtain either Keqing (Electro) or Qiqi (Cryo). Additionally, only Liyue 4-star characters can be obtained in the banners such as Gaming, Yaoyao, Yun Jin, Yanfei, Xinyan, Chongyun, Ningguang, Xingqiu, Beidou, and Xiangling.

Genshin Impact Version 5.3 Chronicled Banner: Who Should You Pull

1. Baizhu

Baizhu is the best character to pull for in the current meta due to his versatility as a Dendro shielder and healer. His ability to consistently apply Dendro makes him indispensable in teams that rely on Dendro reactions like Bloom, Hyperbloom, or Quicken.

While his shield is not as strong as Zhongli’s, it offers decent protection and can be situationally useful. His healing capabilities ensure team survivability in high-difficulty content. With Dendro still dominating the meta, Baizhu provides exceptional value for any roster.

2. Tartaglia (Childe)

Tartaglia, despite being a release character, remains highly relevant as a Hydro DPS. His AoE damage is excellent, and his ability to apply Hydro makes him a core unit for Vaporize or Bloom teams. His best teams are free-to-play friendly, making him easy to build for most players. Tartaglia’s synergy with powerful support units allows his teams to shine in endgame content, maintaining his status as a reliable and versatile damage dealer.

3. Xiao

Xiao is a hyper-carry Anemo DPS who deals significant damage with his plunging attacks at the cost of HP. While his damage output is high, he has been power-crept by newer Anemo DPS options and suffers from the need for constant healing or shielding due to his HP drain.

Teams built around Xiao require solid support like Zhongli or healers to compensate for his self-damage. While still viable, Xiao struggles to match the flexibility and utility of other DPS characters in the current meta.

4. Ganyu

Ganyu is a Cryo DPS who excels with her charged shots, offering high single-target and AoE damage. However, Cryo as an element has fallen off in the meta, especially with the decline of Freeze teams in favor of Dendro-based reactions. Her Freeze team compositions, once top-tier, are now underwhelming in endgame content. Ganyu still performs decently in some scenarios but lacks the overall impact and adaptability of other characters.

5. Shenhe

Shenhe is a Cryo support who significantly boosts Cryo DPS damage, but her niche utility makes her the least valuable pull in the current meta. With Cryo falling out of favor, her role is limited to enhancing Cryo teams, which are no longer as dominant. While her design is stunning and her buffs are powerful in specific situations, Shenhe’s relevance depends entirely on having a strong Cryo DPS like Ayaka or Ganyu, making her a low-priority option for most players.
