Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, the sci-fi RPG from SHIFT UP and Level Infinite has now introduced another new story event titled Golden Coin Rush now live in the game. Like your usual story update, which brings us rewards, gameplay elements, and more, we also have two new SSR Characters namely Soda and Alice arriving in the game, so let me give you all an overview of this update.
Goddess of Victory: NIKKE Golden Coin Rush Event Overview
New Character: SSR Soda and Alice
SSR Soda is an Attacker class participating in the event to protect Maid Cafe. Her skill effects get stronger based on stacks of Golden Chip. The higher the stack, the more powerful she is in terms of attack. Equipped with the Undiminished Shotgun, classified under the Iron code, Soda can be recruited using Gems or Advanced Recruit Vouchers in Special Recruit with a 2% chance of acquisition.
SSR Alice is of the Supporter class and will be helping by taking pictures with the bunnies. She can periodically restore HP for all allies, in addition to boosting buff stacks. Her Burst Skill provides improved recovery. Equipped with My Little Carrot, classified under the Water code, she can also be recruited via Special Recruit.
Mini Games, Gameplay Updates, and New Archive entry
This update consists of two new mini-games. First, LET’S PLAY, SODA! is the name of a limited-time event where the player helps Soda in different games within Coin Rush. The other is MOG 2.0, a renewed version of the simulation battle game made by Snow White that will always be open and where Goddess Squad fights against hordes of Raptures from all sides.
In terms of gameplay updates, the update includes the Collection Item and Favorite Item system for all Nikkes. Collection Items are items that could be equipped to Nikkes, while Favorite Items are upgraded collection items to enhance their effects and provide wallpapers.
Additionally, the GOLDEN SHIP story event is now unlocked and accessible in the Event Archives section. You can participate in the GOLDEN COIN RUSH to get Memory Films, unlocking the story event in the Archives.
Events, Rewards, and other additions
As usual, we have the Coordinated Operations ongoing. The 14-Day Login Event brings Coins as rewards to players logging in for 14 days with Advanced Recruit Vouchers and development materials.
On top of this, there is the weekend-only FULL BURST DAY event with extra rewards in the Interception and Simulation Room. Finally, the Solo Raid challenges players to defeat a boss for Cube, Favorite Item, and Collection Item materials, with rankings based on damage dealt offering Special Frame and Gems.
