Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home will be the latest release to the classic farming simulation series, Harvest Moon. Natsume Inc has announced the release date set for August 23, 2024, and this will mark the first release in the series since 2019.
Harvest Moon is a classic title amongst Farming simulators as it kickstarted the genre
Harvest Moon as a franchise has its fanbase and reputation of being one of the originals in the farming simulator industry. Since the release of the earlier titles, many different studios and developers have come up with games with similar ideas like Stardew Valley, Farming Simulator, Hay Day, My Time at Portia, and Sunrise Village.
The game is a true forming simulator at heart with all the basics involved in the game ranging from starting your farm up from scratch, gathering the resources and managing them well for proper produce, and expanding the farm up from the revenue generated.
The series is known for its cozy farming gameplay and with the new release, the developers will try and provide the same. The game will be a traditional Harvest Moon-style title that fans know and love, as stated by Natsume’s CEO and president, Hiro Maekawa.
The series despite being popular got a mixed response for Harvest Moon: Mad Dash which was released in 2019, as the title switched genres a little bit and introduced a puzzle-styled gameplay. Hence the title, Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home, as the series will try and go back to its casual and cozy farming roots with the latest release.
Players can start harvesting their farms this August on their Android and iOS devices
As mentioned earlier, Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home will be released on August 23, 2024, and will be released for both Android and iOS. The links are not active yet, so stay tuned as we will provide more details as it arrives.
