- Heartopia x MALTESE is now live, running until late May, 2026.

Heartopia kicks off collaboration with the popular brand MALTESE. The collaboration brings fresh puppy-themed content, including new group and specialty exhibitions, limited-edition furniture packs, interactive events, and gacha opportunities packed with cute rewards. All the related events are already live in-game and will continue until May 25, 2026.
Everything that arrived with Heartopia x MALTESE collaboration
1. Regular Gacha set: Wind-Chasing Puppy & Spring Outing Puppy Sets
You can enjoy new exhibition sets featuring the “Wind-Chasing Puppy (Light)” and “Spring Outing Puppy (Wild Nap)” themes. These include exclusive outfits and furniture. However, you need to spend Heart Diamonds to pull your favorite sets. For each pull you’ll get a random Thank-You Card.
Thank-You Cards can also be exchanged in the Exchange Store for themed sets. The Group Exhibition ends on May 27, 2026.
2. Premium Gacha set: Go with Puppy
A Speciality Exhibition (premium gacha) featuring two new sets: Go with Puppy V (Energetic) and Go with Puppy V (Innocence) is now available during the same period. You can use Exhibition Passes to draw Normal, Rare, and Special Treasures. Special Treasures guarantee all remaining exhibits once obtained, with no duplicates from a single exhibition.
As usual, there will not be any duplicates. But the number of required passes will increase gradually. There are a total of 11 draws, and they cost: 3, 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 37, 44, 51, 58, 65. So you require a total of 348 Exhibition Passes if your luck is really bad.
But if you’re lucky enough, you can unlock all the rewards when you unlock the car. This follows the same pattern as the previous gachas, such as the My Little Pony collaboration. One important thing about the vehicle, since many of you really want to buy the vehicle, it is not as fast as the MLP cars, so the decision is yours. But aesthetically, this is cute! Look at this image below, you can just have fun with your friends.
3. MALTESE Pack in the Acorn Store
A limited-edition MALTESE Pack is available in the Acorn Store throughout the event period. It includes building materials, the “Happy Maltese Window,” and furniture items such as the MALTESE Winter House, Maltese Winter Disguise, Magic Puppy Double Sofa, Rug, Night Light, and more. All of these require Heart Diamonds. So if you’re not someone who spends regularly, then you probably should skip this part.
4. New limited-time MALTESE animal
You can join the MALTESE Friend Hunt, where Malte and Retriever visit town for springtime fun. Interact with them to unlock actions, gift ornaments, and increase bond levels. The event runs concurrently with the collaboration period.
- Maltese animal trough location: Truffle Island (where all the new event stuff is showcased)
- Maltese animal favorite food: Meat, Dog Food, Grilled Mushroom
Pro Tip: Please make sure to upgrade the bond level with these Maltese dogs (limited-time animals) to the maximum level possible. This will help you to unlock the exclusive rewards. To upgrade the bond level quickly, you need to feed the animals their favorite food. And make sure that their hunger levels never reach zero.
5. MALTESE All-in-One Gacha Machine
This is the free-to-play part of the Heartopia x MALTESE collaboration. You can complete daily and event quests to earn MALTESE Gacha Coins. Spin the gacha for limited outfits, handheld items, and MALTESE Tokens. Every 9 draws guarantees a new MALTESE collaboration limited reward. You can use the Coins in the Exchange Store for additional rewards.
Please note that all the limited-time food recipes are part of this Gacha Machine. Just complete some quests and spin the gacha, and then unlock the recipes via the exchange store here. Its very simple! The limited-time recipes are:
- Heart Puppies Con Panna: 2x Milk + 2x Coffee
- Retriever Con Panna: 2x Milk + 1x Coffee Beans + 1x Coffee
- Maltese Con Panna: 3x Milk + 1x Coffee
- Retriever Canale: 1x Egg + 1x Milk + 1x Wheat + 1x Coffee Beans
- Maltese Canale: 1x Egg + 1x Milk + 1x Wheat + 1x Strawberyy

New 2-Person Action: Happy with MALTESE!
A brand-new two-person interaction called Happy with MALTESE! is also added. You can do your regular friendship sync with friends to accumulate 7 days of interaction and unlock the exclusive “Happy Dance” action. The progress is tracked individually in the Friendship Journal, and you can participate with multiple friends simultaneously.
Final Thoughts
This new collaboration definitely brings fresh air to the cozy world of Heartopia. Spring has never looked this cute! But is it really enough? For some, it may be, and for some, it may not be enough. For regular players like me who are spending at least an hour in Heartopia every day, I feel that the event could have brought some more interesting stuff, but I guess something is still better than nothing.
