Tower of Fantasy, Perfect World’s MMORPG was first released in China in December 2021, since then the game has been actively developing its fan base in the gaming industry. The developers recently announced that the game will be launched globally with an English version, and conducted the first phase of beta tests. The second phase of the beta test will aim at optimizing the game based on feedback received during the April beta tests, this phase of the beta test will be available to users in Indonesia, Thailand, Brazil, the US, and Japan, on Android and PC devices for five days. This beta test is also related to Tower of Fantasy’s marketing strategy, which is why this beta test will select testers through limited registration rather than pre-registrations like previous beta tests.
The limited registration for the second beta test will begin at 8:00 am on June 22, 2022 (UTC+8) through advertisements. At this time, players can download and register for the game through randomly placed advertisements. Once the registrations reach the target number, players will get the download link in the official ToF community channels and allow players to download and register. The development team has made a few changes since the last beta test:
- Overall UI experience has been optimized and is now much easier to use.
- Improvements in the display of weapons skills and quirks.
- From now on players will need less EXP to upgrade and there’s also an increase in the daily upgrade limits.
- The Weapons have been gone through an assessment and the strength and difficulty have been balanced.
- Rewards have been improved and missions have also been made easier.
- Some game modes will now be available at a different level in the game.
- The wormhole will now have a limitless mode with the auto-battle feature.
