Perfect World has officially confirmed that an international English version of Tower of Fantasy is under development and is preparing for a global release soon for its fans across the world. The announcement makes it clear that users around the world will now be able to experience the real Open-world role-playing blockbuster that has long been famous for taking hits at Genshin Impact in the market.
Open-world RPGs are extremely popular in the gaming community these days for their creative freedom and endless exploring possibilities. With notable games like Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd from miHoYo, now Perfect World is all set to roll out their game Tower Of Fantasy worldwide with the aim to acquire the global market in this domain.
The game has already attracted quite attention in the past
Tower of Fantasy has been in the limelight since its initial release in 2020. The team has been in discussion for its mistakes too as it has come under criticism several times by fans, where it was caught using Honkai Impact 3rd assets in one of their PV.
Later the team was under heavy backlash after they were spotted stealing Genshin Impact’s Appstore reviews which were busted by fans. Soon after this, they were again under fire as they were caught using a plagiarised video as their own in one of their promotional videos.
But keeping all those things aside, now with an English version under development that might hit the market by the end of 2022 or early 2023, this could potentially be their chance to make their claims come true and take the market by storm.
Tower of Fantasy global release: Another big MMORPG on the horizon
Tower of Fantasy will feature role-playing fiery combats in the vast fantasy world where players will go face to face with ferocious beasts and deadly machines. This game will have players indulge in making important game-time strategies to defeat enemies with a combination of air-combat and ground skills. The game features flexible controls that make it easier for players to change between weapons for attack and defense. Players will also have to design their own characters.
Tower of Fantasy until now is only available in China and was first introduced to gamers at the ChinaJoy event in 2020. Upon its release in China, Tower of Fantasy quickly won the hearts of the gaming community.
Notable highlights of the game were the seamless gameplay and the extremely intricate graphics. After this, the game got another boost as it was improvised with Unreal Engine 4 graphics which brought about serious changes in many segments of the game. This does give this game a chance to be a worthy opponent for Genshin Impact.
Of course, being an MMORPG, it allows for complete freedom of exploration in addition to its compelling plot. There are also set to be puzzle elements and the combat is said to be fast-paced. It still remains to be seen if this game can have an impact similar to Genshin Impact but we are not far away from finding out.
