Activision has released a new public test build for Season 8 in Call Of Duty Mobile. Just like the previous test servers, the COD Mobile Season 8 2021 Test Server is now available for Android and iOS. This is a bit packed public test build with a significant amount of content in it for the next season or two, like maps, weapons, improvements, and more. Moreover, the test server is now open for iOS players as well. So they can now participate too in the test build. to get a glimpse of the upcoming features. Also, this should be noted that as COD Mobile China announced to synchronize with the global version starting from June 2021, so the features are the same as those in the Chinese test server

It is finally that time, the Public Test Build for Season 8 2021 is here! This test server begins on September 4th, 2021 (PT). his time around there are two different versions – 32 bit and 64 bit. For anyone unfamiliar, 64 bit is more suited for higher-end devices while 32 bit is generally more suited for lower-end devices.
We recommend that you only download the 64-bit version if you have no issues running the current version of the game on the more demanding graphical settings. Here’s how to download the COD Mobile Season 8 2021 test server on Android and iOS devices.
For Android devices
- Download the APK file for Android devices (32-bit) by clicking here and Android devices (64-bit) by clicking here.
- Once the download is complete, click on install.
- Allow installation from unknown sources if you are installing anything from outside the store for the first time.
- Now you can play Call of Duty Mobile Season 8 2021 Test Server.
For iOS devices
For iOS players, you will just need to have Apple’s Testflight application installed on your phone. You can download the application here.
Now, before downloading the Call of Duty Mobile Season 6 2021 Test Server, there are some points that must be gone through.
- The file size is 2.0 GB
- Keep in mind that in this test build, Activision only allows the first 30k players (10k Android (32-bit), 10k Android (64-bit), 10k iOS) to enter into the Public Test Server. So make sure you hurry up a little if you want to save yourself a spot on the Test server.
- All the information and data will be wiped out at the end of the test.
As per usual, everything you see in the build may not be final, maybe buggy, or may have placeholder art or text, or may not be released in the next update. Also, this file and build are independent of the main build. So you do not need to remove or do anything with your main COD Mobile application. It will install another application that is executed separately.
Main Features of COD Mobile Season 8 2021 Public Test server
New Maps in Multiplayer and Battle Royale
Hovec Sawmill
Hovec Sawmill is a multiplayer map featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare that was released as part of Season Three’s content for the game. The map is set in a rural village in Kastovia which has been deserted based on its war-torn state. The village features a sawmill in the middle of the map which has caught fire and almost collapsed during the siege from Al-Qatala. The village also includes a local butchery, a beekeeper’s area, and a vegetable farm.
Crash – Revamped
The already existing Crash map in Multiplayer is all set to get a new look in the game. Some colorization and some changes in props are to be seen in this revamped version of the Crash map.
New Battle Royale Map: Horizon
If things go as planned by Activision, then players might get to play on a completely new version of ISOLATED in a completely new map, named Horizon with new locations and features. As per rumors, the current Isolated map might be detonated by a nuclear bomb on the upcoming COD Mobile’s 2nd Anniversary, so we might have a New or updated Battle Royale Map.
New Weapons
M13 Assault Rifle
The M13 is a fully automatic assault rifle that is now available on Test Server. It comes with low damage for an assault rifle (and by most other standards). It requires a minimum of 5 shots to kill out to 30 meters, though this can be lowered to 4 or even 3 shots with headshots.
Past this distance, it will require 6 shots. Fortunately, the M13 comes with a lofty fire rate of 891 RPM. This is faster than most other fully automatic assault rifles, LMGs, and SMGs. Time-to-kill is not particularly fast due to needing several shots to kill, but the weapon’s rate of fire makes it more forgiving when missing a couple of shots.
R9-0 Shotgun
The R9-0 shotgun is one of the most unique weapons that is currently playable in Call of Duty: Warzone. It is a close-quarter weapon and is regarded among the best in its class. However, if you equip the weapon with the right set of loadout or attachments, it can certainly help unlock its full potential.
Players can fire two shots almost instantly before they need to pump the shotgun again. With a large ammo capacity, this weapon can be used to take down entire squads.
New Scorestreak: Lightning Strike
The Lightning Strike is similar to the Mortar Team Killstreak from Call of Duty: Black Ops in that one chooses three target points to deliver a payload on the map. Three FA38 fighter jets rapidly drop bombs on the selected locations, thereby killing its targets much quicker than the mortar team and making it near impossible for the enemy to escape.
When calling in the Lightning Strike, there will be a single UAV sweep shown on the targeting map, to allow players to more accurately using the streak. This UAV sweep will only work the first time the Lightning Strike is used.
New Operator Skill: TAK-5
Lastly, the new Operator Skill – TAK-5 is also adding up to the arsenal as it is there in the test server.
New Perk – Iron Lungs
Iron Lung is a new perk currently available in the season 8 test server. It increases the time a player can steady a sniper rifle’s scope from 4 seconds to 9 seconds. However, holding the rifle steady until the 9-second limit will cause the sniper rifle to sway uncontrollably, and will take 10 seconds before the sniper rifle can be steadied again, thus, it is reasonable to not steady the player’s aim indefinably but just long enough to see a moving target.
New Additions in Battle Royale
New Class: Grasshopper
This is a new Battle Royale class now available on the test server for the next season. This class comes with active and passive skills. The active skill Jet Bag will increase the amount of gas injection and increase the nitrogen recovery speed. The passive skill Jet Jump will help players gain the jet jumping ability, but shooting in the air will increase emission.
New Equipment: Level 2 Backpack
There is a piece of new equipment that is now available on the test server. This will be a level 2 backpack which will extend the bag slot to 8 slots.
New Vehicle: Rally Car
The Rally Car is a brand new powerful two-seater vehicle with a streamlined body that enables players to burn up the road. Upon its arrival in the game, it will be the 4th fastest car in the game, behind the Muscle Car, Motorbike, and ATV.
New Health System
A new Health system is expected to arrive in Season 8 and is now available on the test server for this upcoming season. Under this health system, the Base 100 HP will heal 5 seconds after taking damage. Moreover, the armor can get up to 3×50, totaling 250 effective health. The Armor plus can get to 4×50, totaling 300 effective health. Finally, the Blue Zone damages base health instead of armor.
New Weapon Prestige System
The Prestige system has become a staple in Call of Duty ever since Call of Duty: 4 Modern Warfare, so fans have been desperate for it to be added to COD Mobile. As Modern Warfare (2019) didn’t have the Prestige system but Black Ops Cold War reintroduced it, COD Mobile likely wants to follow on from this success and now this system is under testing in the test server.
On the screen for the Man-o-War Assault Rifle, a progress bar can be spotted underneath an emblem, appearing to display the first weapon Prestige. Underneath this, there are rewards correlating to the progress bar.
It’s likely that once players hit max level with a gun, they can Prestige the weapon and unlock unique cosmetics as they rank it up again.
New Ranking Tiers
There is a new Rank Tier now available in the test server for COD Mobile Season 8. This new Rank Tier will be available in the Multiplayer as well as the Battle Royale mode in the game.
