Hutch has opened its studio for the London Games Festival

Hutch, the renowned automotive mobile game developer, has invited games industry professionals to join them at their studio for an open day in partnership with the London Games Festival. Hutch is a development studio that’s dedicated to making the best racing games for mobile. The session’s participants will have access to Hutch’s Shoreditch studio on Wednesday, April 5, between 17:00 and 19:30 GMT. A brand-new making-of documentary will be screened for the first time, and there will also be thought-provoking speaking events.

Attendees can be the first to see ‘Top Drives: 5 Years In The Making’, a documentary detailing the development history of the hit automotive card battler for mobile. 

Anna Yukhtenko, Head of Analytics, will discuss the importance of data analysis within game development in her talk; ‘Data Pros In Action: When Do You Start Analysing Your Game?’. Yukhtenko, a data analyst expert in the games industry, will use her years of experience to provide a transparent look into how to review a game’s metrics and how that data can make a game a hit.

Ending the day by sharing key learnings from the studio’s 4-day workweek trial, CEO Shaun Rutland will explore the impact Hutch experienced from both a business and team perspective in his talk; ‘How We Became a 4DWW Studio’. With valuable lessons for any studio interested in reducing working hours with increased productivity, Rutland will detail how a 4-day work week can support the wellbeing of a team without sacrificing output.
