The Europe-based Keplerian Studio has announced the latest arcade horror game in their Ice Scream series. The announcement was made through their official Twitter platform along with a small teaser trailer. The new game marks the fifth installment in the long-running Ice-Scream series. Ice Scream 5 revolves around small puzzle elements and should be solved using the hints available in the surrounding environment.
A horror game with puzzle elements
In the previous game of the series, the main character had helped their friends to escape from their cages that were being transported to the extraction room. In the new game, the players will continue their adventure in the factory as two characters- J or Mike. Users need to face the enemies in the form of Mini-Rods & the Ice Cream Man in the factory. Additionally, the players also need to find a solution to reunite the two lost friends in the factory.
The announcement trailer reveals a lot about the gameplay mechanics of the title. Similar to the previous installments, players need to solve small mystery puzzles without getting trapped in the hands of the enemies. The puzzles may vary from finding a key to closing the valves of the factory using tools. The most thrilling aspect of the game lies in perfectly dodging the enemies while solving your puzzle in a timely manner.
Platform support for the game
Similar to the other games in the series, Ice Scream 5: Mike’s Adventure will be available on both Android and iOS platforms. Currently, the game is available for pre-registering and will soon release to the global audience. Also, the developers have promised a special gift for all the players who have pre-registered for the game which will be delivered upon its release.
The small indie studio has grown tremendously over the past few months with various hit titles in the horror genre. Evil Nun Maze: Endless Escape has garnered some rave reviews and has received more than a million downloads in the past few months.
