- Jonathan Gaming is India's one of the most popular BGMI Esports athletes and Content Creators.
- Big gaming YouTuber such as Shreeman Legend has joined Team Apex Gaming as content creator.
- Apex Gaming is all set make their official debut in the upcoming Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series (BMPS) 2026.
It all began with a black heart emoji at the end of the message that Jonathan ‘Jonathan’ Amaral sent to his fans after the conclusion of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2026. The rumour was already in the air that arguably the most popular BGMI Esports athlete and Content Creator will leave team GodLike Esports to start his own venture, and it is exactly what happened.
The Indian Gaming Community is in a state of shock as Jonathan Gaming just announced his very own Esports organization named Team Apex Gaming. It is a brand-new competitive gaming team that will primarily focus on Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). In this article, I will talk about the all-new venture of Jonathan Gaming and the probable additions to this organization.
The formation of the new Organization
TAGonTop – this is the tagline that is currently trending in the whole Indian Gaming Community. Jonathan has played in some of the biggest teams throughout his PUBG Mobile and BGMI Esports career.
It started with Skull Esports, after that, he played in the likes of Orb, Entity Gaming, TSM-Entity, and finally, in GodLike Esports. He has always been the point of attraction of his organization and team, thanks to his top-notch gaming skills. He won two official trophies during his tenure with Entity Gaming and TSM-Entity, respectively.
But it has not always been smooth for Jonathan. Since the arrival of BGMI, he has yet to win an official trophy. After two consecutive podium finishes and one Most Valuable Player award with team GodLike Esports, it was looking like he was finally going to get the much-awaited feather of glory in his jewelled crown.

But, after some rough patches during the earlier phases of BGIS 2026 and a below-par performance in the semi-final, fans speculated that he might get benched during 2nd phase of the qualification round, and it truly happened!
After he was benched by the management during the survival stage of the BGIS semi-final, a rumour was spread that it created a rift between him and the management, which might have led to parting ways. However, we took it with a grain of salt as he was also the co-owner of team GodLike.
After all the fuss, he played well in the final and ended on a good note. After the conclusion, he posted a mysterious black heart emoji in his social media handle to tease the arrival of something new. Finally, on the evening of the 12th of April, he announced his new venture- Team Apex Gaming, making all the rumours true.
What lies ahead for Team Apex Gaming and Jonathan
Within 1 week of inception, TAG has already made two of the biggest announcements. Two popular gaming YouTubers- Shreeman Legend and SSR Vlogs have joined the organization as content creators and co-founders. TAG is actively making progress in content creation, and they will make some more signings in the coming weeks.

Regarding BGMI Esports, we have come to know from our trusted sources that Team Apex Gaming is all set to bring in the current BGMI line-up of Team Infinix True Rippers Esports. As per sources, they have already activated the whopping 7-digit buyout clause for the entire line-up!
