PUBG Mobile 4.4 Beta Version Update: What’s new and how to download

While the 4.3 version update of PUBG Mobile is on it’s peak, the developers have already released the PUBG Mobile 4.4 Beta Version with upcoming contents and features. Just like any other version update, this one also has many interesting abilities and items that will make the game even more enjoyable. This time, the main theme is based on the Greek and Roman empires.

The name of the themed game mode is Hero’s Crown. In this update, we will see new items such as Gladiator army, buildings inspired by Greek architecture, war flags, special wings, new vehicle, a brand new Boss fight simulation, and many unique things. So, we can say we have a little time-travel in this version update to go back to that civilization and know more about it.

Yasnaya Polyana and Ruins go back in time

The main hotdrops of the Hero’s Crown game mode will be based in the city of Yasnaya Polyana and the vast fields of Ruins. In these event locations, you will see various kinds of Greek architecture-themed buildings, town halls, barracks, and other establishments. You will also see a massive palace in the middle of the location. You can get great loot and items in that palace.

With these additions, we will get the vibe of the Ocean Odyssey game mode, where we used to land in a similar kind of palace. The only difference was that the palace was situated underwater. This hot-drop location will allow us to play more strategically by using hard covers, pillars, stages, and other obstacles. There will also be multiple temples of Greek gods. Don’t forget to visit those buildings.

Apart from the usual stuff, we will also see many new items and features related to Greek and Roman history. We will face a gladiator army, do flag trials, fight bosses, and many more things. We will know more about these in the coming days, as we are currently in the first phase of the beta version, so stay tuned.

Complete trials to get exclusive titles and rewards

In the 4.4 Beta Version of PUBG Mobile, we will see multiple trial challenges just like the Ocean Odyssey mode. You will have to complete various in-game tasks and objectives to complete these challenges. These trials are named after the characters of Greek mythology.

You will see challenges like the Achilles’ Trail, Spartan’s Trial, Icarus’ Trial, Gryphon Trial, etc. In each of these trials, you will have to complete tasks related to the folklore of that particular mythological character. It will definitely add some excitement to the game.

New vehicle – Horse Chariot

In this version update of PUBG Mobile, you will see an all-new vehicle named the Chariot. It is a vehicle powered by two magical fire-horses. You can obtain this vehicle at the main event location of the Hero’s Crown themed mode. It has a top speed of 85 KM/H. It can also make you fly for a limited period of time when it is in its max power. Quite an innovation from the developers.

Glory Medals and Crown’s Abode

Once you complete all the trials in a match, a pop-up message will appear on your screen stating that you have unlocked a special medal named the Glory Medals. Using these Glory Medals, you can play a special themed mode available only for the top 4 teams of the lobby. When you start a match, you will see a Glory Medals counter at the top of the screen.

You will also be able to check your rank in that tab. You can perform basic tasks like securing finishes, rescuing teammates, and completing trials to achieve medals. Once you collect 100 points and gain a rank between 1 and 4, you will travel to a floating nimbus island in the sky. On that island, you can get loot, items, and a special version of the Chariot after you complete another challenge.

The final boss, Centaur, waits for you

After a very long time, the boss fight feature is coming back to PUBG Mobile. In this 4.4 Beta Version of the game, you will face a fierce Centaur boss. Once you collect all the flags in the floating nimbus island, the advanced horse chariot will appear. Once you activate the vehicle, it will take you to the top-most temple of the island.

Here, you will see a half-horse and half-human creature waiting for you. You will have a total of 3 minutes to beat the Centaur. Once you beat it, you will get advanced supplies, magical powers, and more. Don’t take the Centaur lightly, as it can deal a massive amount of damage and can easily beat you.

Classic mode enhancements

The PUBG Mobile 4.4 version update also brings several enhancements to the classic gameplay. However, currently, we don’t have many updates regarding the features to share with you. JS-9 SMG in Erangel

The most powerful gun of the Rondo map is finally here in Erangel. The JS-9 SMG will be available in the Erangel map as a common weapon from this version update. It is known for its high firing rate and great handling. It is very loved among the pro esports athletes of the game.

Panzerfaust

The Panzerfaust anti-tank weapon is coming to the Erangel map. You can get this weapon only from item shops in exchange for 5 coins. Imagine a squad is rushing at you via car and you just take out your Panzerfaust to eliminate them in a blink. It will add a lot of firepower to the meta.

New vehicle

A brand-new two-seater vehicle is coming to the game in its 4.4 Beta Version Update. The name of the vehicle is not known yet, but it is a Sedan-class vehicle.

Visual and Sound enhancements

The visual and sound effects in the 4.4 Beta have been upgraded to match the new features. The sound of moving buildings, the sound of melee weapons, and character transformations contribute to a more immersive and intense gameplay experience.
