KonoSuba: Fantastic Days introduces Vanir as a new playable character

Duke of hell joins the battle!

The mobile gacha RPG KonoSuba: Fantastic Days has received an update including the original anime character Vanir, according to NEXON Korea Corp. Vanir is a Duke of Hell and former general of the Devil King, makes his KonoSuba: Fantastic Days! debut after first appearing in the original anime. Due to his frequent appearances in the game’s narrative and events, this new playable character is well-known by fans.

Vanir, a demon with the ability to see the past, future, and even into other people’s thoughts, wears a distinctive mask. For his personal delight, he enjoys making everyone around him feel bad.

Vanir arrives with exciting events and rewards in KonoSuba: Fantastic Days

In honor of the update, Nexon will run the “Vanir Joins the Battle! Recruit” promotion through Thursday, December 22 with new Festival characters 4* Vanir (Duke of Hell), 3* Vanir (Punishing Pose), 4* Megumin (Legendary Adventurer), and 4* Wiz (Legendary Adventurer).

Additionally accessible during that time is the multiplayer battle “A Dungeon for This Masked Demon!,” in which participants attempt to defeat the Event Boss three times to receive a 3 Vanir.

In the meantime, Nexon‘s KonoSuba: Fantastic Days will reward players with various items based on their login date until Friday, December 23 to commemorate their 500 days of service, including the “500-Day Celebration Weapon Selection Ticket,” “500-Day Celebration Jewelry Selection Ticket,” “Cat Ear Relief (x2),” “Skill Potions,” a variety of upgrade materials, and much more.
