Lineage2M, the MMORPG title that is actually a remastered version of the PC game from 2003, is gearing up for a global release. The upcoming game features updated visuals and gameplay features optimized for mobile and pre-registration for Android along with pre-order for iOS has opened up in select regions (Europe and North America).
This game shouldn’t be confused with Lineage W, however, which is yet another game from NCSOFT that revealed their plans for going with a global first approach and is also being worked on. The announcement was made on the official blog.
The game itself seems to have really beautiful-looking visuals and realistic gameplay features that enhance the overall experience. It’s set in a war-torn world that consists of two whole continents and players can gather up to take part in insanely huge battles.
The game was actually already released in Korea, Taiwan, and Japan a while ago alongside their cross-play service called “Purple” which allows players to seamlessly switch between mobile and PC versions of the game.
Lineage2M Closed Beta coming up soon
While it hasn’t been revealed when Lineage2M is going to be released, a closed beta will be taking place on October 6. The locations where it’ll go into the closed beta haven’t been made official either, so players will have to pre-register or pre-order and wait to be invited to try out the game early. The rewards for doing so are 500 Soulshots, which are an in-game resource.
Anyone who’s a fan of MMORPGs should definitely go ahead and pre-register for the game if it’s available in their region to get their hands on it as soon as possible. The official English website does not seem to work at this moment but once it does, we’ll make sure to update the piece here.
