Lost Light is a shooter-based Survival game from the Chinese developer NetEase games released in 2021. After the game’s initial closed beta launch for Australia and New Zealand regions in April, the developers have now announced a soft launch for the European players in the UK and Germany regions as well starting from the 1st of July 2021.
Lost Light is a Third-Person competitive action survival game. It has a heavy resemblance to the famous PC title ”Escape from Tarkov”, due to which many gaming pundits have declared Lost Light as the mobile version of the former game.
As a member of the elite Firefly Squad, players must venture into the city to unfold secrets and conspiracies behind the brutal domain, also players may choose to rescue other survivors while taking care of themselves from other Missionaries.
The game is not only about the survival-based shooter but also about resource management. The players wandering in the city (Map) must look for supplies like food, medicine and ammo while constantly searching for survivors. Players may choose to team up or even go solo to execute other random players on the server either to wreak havoc or to reap the loots which further adds an element of excitement & unpredictability to the game.
Lost Light soft launch had initially happened for the Australian and New Zealand audience on April 28th, 2021. The game received quite a good response from the player base and people applauded its unique style of gameplay.
