Mahjong Soul, the anime-themed Japanese riichi mahjong game, celebrates the Spring Festival With its new event, A Feast for Nian. During this joyous event, Nian will accompany players and bestow a variety of goodies. There are also two new Jyanshis and a set of Spring Festival-themed clothes.
Complete daily missions and unlock rewards and play with new characters during the event period
The Spring Festival event begins on January 25th, 2022, and ends on February 15th, 2022 (UTC-7). Players will be able to get random meal ingredients by completing daily quests throughout this event. Players can feed Nian to obtain Riichi BGM, Summon Scrolls, Spring Exclusive Emotes, and other fantastic goodies by gathering sets of meal components. Two brand new Spring Festival-themed characters will be available in this event in Mahjong Soul:
Nahana
Nanaha is an adult novel enthusiast as well as a part-time job at a bookstore. She feels that true love can only emerge from a clash of the mental and physical, hence she does not hold “platonic love” in high regard.
Sammir
Sammir, a young man as soft as a breeze and as free as a breeze. He has the air of a poet, listens intently to everyone with a smile on his face, and then effortlessly relates stories he has collected from all over the world. Aside from the new Jyanshis, the event includes a daily rate-up for all permanent Jyanshis, giving gamers more opportunity to pull for the ones they like.
A Feast for Nian event brings new items to the shop in Mahjong Soul
The Festive Aroma series for Eliisa and Kaguyahime has now arrived, featuring two fresh new Spring Festival-themed ensembles. Meanwhile, the Wonderful Youth series clothes for Mai Aihara and Momo Hina have been re-released to give players a festive holiday mood.
