Mahjong Wish brings a fresh take on the classic tile game with anime-styled Mahjong girls
Mahjong Wish, which also translates to Sparrow Wish, is a brand-new Mahjong experience that’s packed with charm and fun involving cute characters. What I understood from the translation from the store page, you can collect adorable Mahjong girls for free as you play. The game also features amazing voice acting by well-known actors.
The gameplay feels incredibly smooth and precise, almost as if you’re playing a real Mahjong game. More features include a well-balanced ranking system and an advanced AI that provides scientific reviews of your matches. Plus, there’s a social element as you can challenge your friends for battles as well.
The 3D tabletop visuals recreate the Mahjong experience beautifully, with stunning effects and vibrant settings. From the same, I kind of felt Mahjong Wish might be the Tencent Games’ version of Yostar Games’ Mahjong Soul, as the gameplay snippet felt similar. I might be wrong here, so let me know if you feel the same.
