Merge Fantasy Island brings My Melody and Kuromi characters in collaboration with Sanrio

As part of its continued collaboration with Sanrio, Netmarble, a leading producer and distributor of top-notch mobile games, has announced that My Melody and Kuromi characters will be coming to its casual mobile game Merge Fantasy Island. The update introduces new resources, unique events, and more in addition to the playable, fan-favorite characters.

In an exciting merging genre-based game with fun gameplay mechanics and cute animations, Merge Fantasy Island brings Netmarble’s beloved IP Kuya to life. As they create and grow their unique islands, players can delve into the universe of Merge Fantasy Island. Collect various resources to aid the Kuya, and level up by joining three or more items to make completely unique ones.

As they take on numerous objectives and put their talents to the test in Adventure Mode’s time attack stage, players can traverse the Main and Adventure islands while tackling challenging puzzles and utilizing special resources that open up a completely new gameplay experience.

Players can now experience various Sanrio character’s collaboration-themed content

Players may now access a variety of collaboration-themed Sanrio character content, including:

  • 3 New Characters and Resources: Cinnamoroll Plushie, Pompompurin Plushie, and Hello Kitty Plushie have been added to the list of playable characters. Players can also enjoy new resources from Cinnamoroll and Pompompurin.
  • New Decoration: Cinnamoroll-themed Decoration and 2 types of tiles themed Cinnamoroll and Pompompurin have been released.

  • Event island, Mystery Island, addition: Cinnamoroll-themed island has been newly released as an event island, which will be open once the players reach Level 12 and can be enjoyed from December 7 to January 5 only. Those who complete special missions can receive collaboration characters and exclusive resources for Mystery Island.
  • Star Collection System addition: Players can receive Star Cards when they acquire Kuyas or resources in the game. Once they collect cards that match each objective, additional rewards such as Gems will be offered.
  • Cleaners System addition: When the players summon Cleaning Kuya, a Cleaners system that can perform an automatic merge will be activated and it can last for a specific period of time, depending on Cleaning Kuya’s level.

An event will be arranged to commemorate this unique cooperation. Hello Kitty Plushies is now available to anyone who logs in throughout the event through January 6th, 2023, while Sanrio character Noms will be accessible after completing daily assignments. Additionally, for the duration of this event, Sanrio characters Nom Bag Boxes, in which players can obtain the collaborative character Noms, have been included as restricted.
