One of Europe’s fastest-growing game firms, Metacore Games, with headquarters in Helsinki, has today announced its expansion to Berlin, its first overseas presence. The expansion comes after a year of rapid growth for Metacore, whose workforce has increased from 15 to over 170 professionals in only three years and whose mystery puzzle game Merge Mansion recently surpassed the 50 million download mark. With the help of its second location, Metacore is continuing to grow strongly after generating 129 million euros in revenue last year.

A newly formed feature team of Metacore Games working on Merge Mansion, the puzzle game that won over fans all around the world with its enthralling tale and lore, will first call Berlin home. Merge Mansion is the first successful game from Metacore. By using Hollywood celebrities like Pedro Pascal and Kathy Bates in their advertisements, the game’s marketing has become a sensation on the internet all on its own.
