Last year, Tencent had announced an official mobile port of Metal Slug, the popular arcade shooter. The game has been under works by TiMi Studios, Tencent’s subsidiary. Timi Studios has previously worked on extremely popular titles like Call of Duty Mobile and Pokémon UNITE and SNK Global. This was a very big announcement that excited a lot of mobile gamers along with people who have played the actual Metal Slug games. Recently, TiMi Studios has revealed the first gameplay of their upcoming Metal Slug game for mobile.
The official gameplay video is out now
In a tweet from the official TiMi studio account (@timistudios), there is a link to a YouTube video from their official account, showcasing some awesome and explosive gameplay. True to their word, it looks like we’re getting a completely faithful rendition with all the fun the previous games had offered. The whole point of the game is to bring an adrenaline boost for the players!
Shoot ’em up on the go
The gameplay, while still in beta, looks really cool and challenging. There’s explosions, guns, menacing bosses and a lot more! The game isn’t just about shooting enemies but also manoeuvring around traps and taking down anything that comes in your way. The gameplay is pretty good looking and TiMi studios’ excellent work is shown off once again!
With not many details regarding the launch of the game yet, it should be coming out soon! The announcement was made almost a year back and with the beta gameplay out, we can expect the release soon. Last year’s gameplay trailer had a little shown off in it as well and from the looks of it, we’re gonna get a solid experience.
