Mobile Legends: Blacklist International co-founder Alodía comments on her venture into MLBB esports

The famous cosplayer appreciates her decision

Alodía Almira Arraiza Gosiengfiao widely known as Alodía Gosiengfiao, is a Filipina cosplayer, model, TV presenter, singer, pianist, streamer, actress, and co-founder of Tier One Entertainment and Blacklist International, the team who have participated in various tournaments of Mobile Legends. Since her involvement in the gaming industry, she was very much involved with big names such as Sony, Dota, and League of Legends. Recently she has spoken up about her decision on her venture into the MLBB esports scene in an interview with Angela Coloma from ABS-CBN News.

Alodía has always shown her keen interest in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang through various ways

Alodía Gosiengfiao is the co-owner of Tier One Entertainment which is the handler of the most dominant PH team Blacklist international. Blacklist International has been the most consistent performer of the country’s history in the game with heavy success in recent times. In reply to the question of why they choose Mobile Legend, Alodia said that they have been watching and analyzing the game’s growth and potential for quite a long time.

Actually, we’ve been always wanting to venture into Mobile Legends and it was the best choice to go under Mobile Legends [first]. [In fact], Blacklist took the nation by storm, It was a fast-growing game like, over the years, we saw how the community grew, how the audience grew and we can see a lot more potential in it. So it actually tapped a lot of. There’s like different demographics and it was perfect.

At one point she said it was the “Best” choice they made as the community has a large structure population with great possibilities.

Currently, Blacklist International has three different mobile esports where two are Philippine-based (MLBB and Call of Duty Mobile) and another one is Malaysian (PUBGM). They acquired the MLBB team from the disbanded EVOS Esports PH in the MPL season 5. The deal turned out to be a success from the very beginning as they became regular playoff contenders.

But the path took a real positive turn for them when they signed OhMyV33nus, Wise, and OHEB. Signing these veteran players immediately resulted in huge success for Blacklist International. They were actually able to pull off their first championship in Season 7 and retained it in Season 8. They were the runner-up of the recent MPLI 2021 too. Currently, they are in Singapore to take part in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang World Championship which is going to start on December 6.

Alodía’s down to earth feelings for the team

Alodia added that the whole organization is like a big family. Everyone takes care of each other to grow and shine. “I can share we treat them as part of the family where we take in players, [tell them to] be themselves and we support each other even like super random things such as styling clothes. It comes from our heart so we treat everyone as part of our family,” she remarked in the interview with Angela.
