Moonton has just revealed its upcoming special event titled “Project Next” to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Mobile Legends. The announcement of the event was teased as a small trailer through its official YouTube channel. The teaser trailer has revealed a lot of upcoming in-game content for the next season that includes the likes of a new hero named Floryn and other exciting new skins for various characters.
Floryn: The new support hero
There are not many details about the upcoming event except the teaser trailer that was launched yesterday. As mentioned earlier, players can expect a new support hero called Floryn. The new character can heal and inflict damage on enemies, gaining an upper hand in the early phase of the game. Her healing ability is also an area-based skill, healing all her allies in the radius of her ability. The ultimate ability of Floyrn allows her to gift an ally, an extra item, that will not take any inventory space, passively improving the base stat. The main point to be noted is that the character will be available for free upon release. To know more about the hero, you can check our detailed Floryn hero overview.
The Moon Goddess Festival will feature a new skin
Apart from a new hero, the content of the next season will be influenced by the moon goddess festival, a popular Chinese tradition. The trailer showcased a special unlockable skin, Moon Priestess, for Miya. Apart from it, we can also expect at least two more exclusive skins for other characters. The skin will also be available to all the Mobile Legends users for free, during the special event. The teaser video also confirmed a rework for the Harper’s display animation. The anniversary for Mobile Legends should have been released last month, but due to the ongoing MLBB X Transformers event, the upcoming event has been delayed to the next month.
