Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has just dropped its schedule for the upcoming season of Mobile Legends MPL-PH Season 9 on its Facebook page. The upcoming season will be the 9th season of MPL in the country. It will start on the 18th of February, 2021. The defending champions, Blacklist International has come from the win in Mobile Legends M3 Championship and they will look to maintain their form. Eight franchise teams will compete against each other and only one of them will emerge as the league winner.
Mobile Legends MPL-PH Season 9: Invited teams
The official Mobile Legends tournament for the country of the Philippines will have 8 invited teams.

- Onic Philippines
- RSG Philippines

Prize pool
The last season of MPL-PH had a prize pool of 150,000 dollars. The majority amount of money in the prize pool, 45,200 dollars went to the winners, Blacklist International. The runners, ONIC Philippines received an amount of 28,100 dollars. This year, we can expect the amount of the prize pool to be of something in this range or more since the hype around Mobile Legends MPL grows with each season.
Mobile Legends MPL-PH Season 9: Predictions
As soon as the tournament starts, all eyes will be on Blacklist International, who will be defending their title this season. They are one of the most coveted teams in MPL-PH having won the championship in Season 7 and 8. They will face a tough challenge from another tournament favourite, Onic PH who were the runners-up from last year.
Other top teams who are also looking to grab the trophy are Omega Esports and Nexplay EVOS. Omega has signed a new “laner” this year and they are looking in really good form. So, we can expect a fierce battle when these teams are pitted against each other.
The other teams that are competing in the upcoming season are RSG PH, ECHO PH, Bren Esports and TNC Pro Team. The last two are being looked upon as dark horses this season. We will soon find out whether they can live up to the expectation and hype of the audience.
