Vizta Games, a subsidiary of MOONTON Games, has announced the soft launch of their new plant-based casual title, Attack on Zombies, now available on Android in Canada, Malaysia, and Singapore. There is no information available yet regarding iOS or the global launch.
Lead your plant squad to blast through zombie hordes
Attack on Zombies is a casual backyard battler built around a plant-based revenge story. Here, you can pick up weapons and lead your botanical squad to take down waves of zombies and even Zombie Kings while defending your home. To me, this clearly looks inspired by Plants vs Zombies, but with more quirkiness and action, of course.

It looks like Vizta Games is sticking with its Cuphead-like visuals, something we’ve already seen in ACECRAFT, and I’m loving it. The battlefield is very unpredictable, too, since you can spin a wheel during fights to gain random powerful skills. And with Plant Superpowers, you can even unleash lightning strikes or cryo-bombardment to clear the zombie hordes.
As you progress, you can use your collected loot and open the Mad Plant Lab right in your backyard to evolve and grow your plants. Overall, I think the game is worth trying out, thanks to its quirky visuals, simple one-handed controls, and the kind of gameplay where no two battles will feel the same to you.
Attack on Zombies is now available in soft launch on Android in Canada, Malaysia, and Singapore. So, you can download and try it via the Google Play Store. Stay tuned for more updates regarding iOS and the global launch. Meanwhile, you can also check our list of all upcoming games for the month.
