Garena International I has announced an exciting collaboration for their popular battle royale title, Free Fire, with the massively popular anime series, GINTAMA. Running from April 27 to May 7, 2026, in North America, this collab brings fan-favorites like Gintoki, Kagura, and Elizabeth into the game with bundles, themed weapons, collectibles, and more.
Yorozuya headquarters takes over the maps of Free Fire
So, Free Fire always amazes me with its collaborations with big IPs, and this time they’ve managed to team up with GINTAMA and its spin-off, Mr. Ginpachi’s Zany Class. Now, one of the coolest additions of this collab is the arrival of the Yorozuya base across all the Battle Royale maps. I love how it has been recreated as the Odd Jobs crew’s headquarters.
So, you can look forward to:
- The two-storey Yorozuya building in BR mode.
- Exploring the Yorozuya office upstairs with its iconic Sugar plaque.
- Visiting Otose’s Izakaya on the ground floor.
Besides this, you’ll be able to buy the Yorozuya-themed Gloo Wall as a collectible. If you’re a fan of the GINTAMA series, you’ll surely love these new additions.
Free Fire x GINTAMA collab brings Character bundles and themed cosmetics
Like previous collabs, this one also introduces a variety of bundles and cosmetics inspired by the series. And, here are the available bundles and items:
- Gintoki and Kagura bundles in the original and Mr. Ginpachi’s Zany Class versions.
- Elizabeth-themed outfit with its deadpan mascot look.
- Gintoki’s funny pink strawberry underwear cosmetic.
- Sogo Okita’s eye mask.
- Shinpachi’s glasses.
Free Fire x GINTAMA collab: Weapons, rewards, and collectibles
Alongside the bundles and wearables, you can also get themed weapons and rewards by playing the game, logging in, and completing missions. They’re as follows:
- Kagura-inspired umbrella Winchester skin.
- Toyako sword-style Katana.
- GINTAMA-themed motorbike.
- Justaway grenade.
- Special collectible inspired by Hijikata’s mayonnaise obsession.
Like the previous few collabs of Free Fire with BLUELOCK, Demon Slayer, One Punch Man, Devil May Cry 5, Jujutsu Kaisen, and more, I’m also looking forward to this one, and I’m sure everybody will love it too. And it looks like Free Fire is also creating a multiverse like Fortnite, bringing characters from diverse IPs.
