Netflix to add 40 more games in 2023; Mighty Quest Rogue Palace launching next month

A few more titles to be added to the Netflix library!

Netflix has confirmed that it will soon add 40 more games in 2023 to its library and it looks like there is no stopping the streaming giant this year. The announcement came along with the news of Ubisoft launching Mighty Quest Rogue Palace, which is scheduled for April as a Netflix exclusive.

Netflix confirms the development of 70 games in collaboration with their partners

In their official announcement, Netflix provided a sneak peek of what’s to come on their platform, with over 55 games already released and 40 more on the way. They also confirmed that, in addition to the 16 games currently in development by their in-house game studios, they are currently working on the development of 70 other games with their partners.

One of their most-played games to date Too Hot to Handle: Love is a Game based on the popular Netflix series of the same name is also getting a sequel. Plans for next year include ustwo’s Monument Valley franchise, which will be available on Netflix next year, beginning with Monument Valley 1 and Monument Valley 2 titles.

Back in October last year, Netflix was reportedly working on the development of 55 new games including some games based on Netflix’s IPs, and the first year was spent trying to understand what the users want and establishing the right gaming infrastructure in their app. So, these developments are indeed a big boost for them.

Mighty Quest Rogue Palace will be the second of three Netflix-exclusive Ubisoft titles

The upcoming action title Mighty Quest Rogue Palace launching on April 18th will serve as a sequel to The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot, which was released back in 2013. This will be the second of their three titles coming exclusively to Netflix, with the adventure title Valiant Hearts: Coming Home being the first and another untitled Assassin’s Creed game in the works.

The plot revolves around the Kingdom of Opulencia’s search for Epic loot. When it was about to be discovered, the search was called off, and there was an urgent need for a hero to save the insane king from himself. Because of an improved formula, expanded narrative, and upgraded frantic action gameplay, the game is simple to learn and endlessly replayable.
