Nexon America has announced the soft launch of MapleStory Worlds, where you can join others to create, explore, and play in vibrant user-generated worlds. MapleStory Worlds will soft-launch in North and South America for Android, iOS, and PC.
MapleStory is a 2D side-scrolling fan-favorite MMORPG developed by Nexon, which is recognized for its unique gameplay and art style. Nexon America has recently changed the way how players and creators interact with MapleStory through MapleStory Worlds. Originally launched in South Korea, MapleStory Worlds is now expanding worldwide, offering you a fresh way to dive into the MapleStory universe.

With powerful world-building tools, the platform allows you to create worlds across various game genres using over 30 million MapleStory assets or you can use your assets. If you are a creator, you can use simple drag-and-drop tools or advanced Lua scripting to bring your imagination to life.
The game also allows you to create in-world avatar items and set a revenue model around it. Other players can then purchase these items from you like Roblox. As a player, you can explore and engage with any of the MapleStory Worlds for a unique experience. These worlds can accommodate many players and offer social features like friends lists, text chat, and chat rooms.
On this platform, you can personalize your avatar with countless options, including facial hair, hair color and styles, clothing, accessories, and so on. You can create new items if it is not available and can also earn revenue by selling them in the avatar shop.
