Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds global version will release worldwide by the early summer of 2022. The game is a role-playing game developed by Level-5 and published by Netmarble and was first released for Android and iOS in Japan.
The game was first unveiled at G-Star 2019, and Tokyo Game Show presented the first gameplay footage in September 2020. On May 15, 2021, the game was announced to be released in Japan on June 10 of the same year. The developers have confirmed that the RPG will be released worldwide on May 25th, 2022. Interested players can start pre-registering now on their respective Google Play and App Stores.

The game’s aesthetics are unique, where it offers a unique blend of reality and fantasy to the players. The game has been created with Unreal Engine, which has given top-notch visuals to the game. The game’s story follows the player as they enter the game as a beta tester for a virtual reality fantasy game called “Soul Divers”.
Once inside, the AI, supposed to act as a guide for the players, a girl called Rania, breaks the system while trying to warn the player of something. When the player wakes up, they find themselves in a fierce battle. They can escape from danger with the help of Queen Sia and Cluu. Afterward, the player heads to the Kingdom of Evermore to seek aid in protecting their nameless kingdom and the whole of Ni no Kuni.
Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds: Gameplay Overview
Unlike in previous Ni no Kuni games, the player can choose their class. The appearance and name of the said main character are also customizable. There are five classes:
- Swordman (Attacker)
- Witch (Attacker)
- Rogue (Support)
- Engineer (Healer)
- Destroyer (Tank)
This game combines the combat systems of Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch and Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, in that the player attacks with their weapon but also carries three familiars who support them.
