Persona 5: The Phantom X version 4.1 update brings Persona 3 Reload crossover event, 5-Star Makoto Yuki, rewards, and more

SEGA CORPORATION has announced the launch of the version 4.1 update of Persona 5: The Phantom X. Now live in-game, this update brings Persona 3 Reload (P3R) special event Met by Moonlight Part 1, a new 5-Star character, a special outfit, rewards, and more. Without further ado, let’s quickly dive in!

Makoto Yuki arrives as the new 5-Star Phantom Thief in version 4.1

So, taking the main stage in this version 4.1 is the new 5-Star Phantom Thief, Makoto Yuki, who joins through the Most Wanted Phantom Idol Contract: When Moon Reaches Stars, available until June 25, 2026. And alongside Yuki, his exclusive 5-Star Weapon is now obtainable from Arms Deals: Silent Pistol.

Now, Makoto Yuki is a powerful Fire-attribute Assassin focused heavily on defense. By building Moon Phase stacks via your own skills and ally support, you can do powerful attacks while also bluffing the entire party. And since Yuki is a Personal 3 Reload character, you can also use unique Assist actions and Theurgy abilities, instead of ranged attacks and Highlight, respectively.

You can also get the special Butler Makoto Yuki outfit set from the shop. It will now cost you 2,880 Meta Jewels thanks to the discount offer, and after June 25, it will cost 3,200 Meta Jewels. And it also includes:

• Butler Makoto Avatar.
• Tea Time profile design.
• Blue Moon Glory profile frame.

Persona 3 Reload crossover takes over version 4.1

So, one of the biggest highlights of version 4.1 is surely the Persona 3 Reload event, Met by Moonlight Part 1. So, during the mysterious Dark Hour, Wonder and the Phantom Thieves suddenly find themselves trapped inside a strange place that looks just like Tartarus, where they eventually join forces with the S.E.E.S members from Persona 3 Reload.

But what makes me so happy about this collaboration is seeing the iconic Persona 3 locations like Paulownia Mall return again, while also watching both casts interact with each other. And if you’re a Persona fan, you’ll love the fact that you can now get a closer look at the emotions and personalities of both P5X and P3R characters.

The story sends Wonder into Tartarus alongside Makoto Yuki

Lore-wise, you head to Port Island with Riko and Lufel after school, but strange incidents suddenly begin happening during their trip back. And, after getting separated from everyone else, you end up inside a dangerous labyrinth filled with Shadows.

And just when things start getting hopeless, Makoto Yuki appears to save you and reunite with his teammate, Yukari Takeba. From there, you and Makoto decide to explore Tartarus together while searching for your missing friends, eventually finding a mysterious door. Now, enjoy the rest of the story in-game.

Anniversary login bonuses and free rewards are now live
