PUBG Mobile Club Open (PMCO) Fall Split 2021 has now concluded for the South Asia region. The grand finale was commenced on August 26th, 2021, and ended on August 29th, 2021. A total of 16 esports teams qualified from the semi-finals and fought for the champion trophy along with a slot in the upcoming PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) South Asia Season 4. After 16 matches of an exciting battle for 4 days, the PMCO Fall Split 2021 South Asia Regional Champions have now emerged and made their way to the next major event.
The grand finals of the PMCO Fall Split 2021 started in 5 countries of South Asia on August 26th, 2021. Unfortunately, PMCO Bangladesh couldn’t manage to run the whole tournament in their country. This is because the High Court division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court had ordered the government to ban the apps immediately along with some other social apps and online games.
PMCO Fall Split 2021 South Asia Regional Champions
PMCO 2021 Pakistan
i8 Esports won the tournament by securing 220 points and 125 kills in their region. However, they couldn’t gather the highest placement points. But they gathered a huge number of kills that none of the other Pakistani esports teams could do. Moreover, runners-up Team QWERTY got 106 position points, the highest among the teams, but remained second with a total of 187 points.
Clarity Esports, previously known as Team Bablu and the winner of PMNC Pakistan 2021, lost the second position to Team QWERTY by a small margin of 4 points. Meanwhile, ZExi8CRYPTO topped the kill leaders table with 7382 damage and 45 frags for him.
PMCO 2021 Nepal
Wizzes Club have been crowned the champions of PMCO 2021 Nepal. They maintained a huge gap of 53 points from the second-placed team. The team showed a consistent performance that helped them to gather 227 points in total with 141 placement points in this tournament.
OHR Ekta Esports became the runner-up in PMCO 2021 Nepal. They secured the highest 5 chicken dinners but failed to top the table as the team was unable to maintain their consistency. Elementrix managed to finish in the third position whereas the PMNC 2021 Nepal champions Ruthless Aggressive Warriors (RAW) claimed the fourth position with a single point behind Elementrix.
PMCO 2021 Wildcard
The Wildcard region saw the most intense battle than any other regional finals on the South Asian stage of PMCO Fall Split 2021. Australian team Paradox OCE became the champions with a lead of only one point from the runners-up. Paradox OCE secured the trophy with the highest number of kills amongst the teams which was 112.
They gathered a total of 216 points whereas the runner-up team, Fury x Nepoz got 215 points. RF Officials came as the third with 171 points.
PMCO 2021 SA Wildcard
Mongolian team Seal Nine became the champions of PMCO 2021 SA Wildcard with 224 points. The team secured three chicken dinners in the finals and 100 kill points along with 124 placement points.
The second and the third positions were also captured by two other Mongolian teams, Savage Esports and Equinox 922 respectively. The runner-up team Savage Esports got a total of 211 points and 161 points were gathered by Equinox 922.
PMCO Fall Split 2021 South Asia: Prizepool
The Prize pool for this tournament was the same for each country participating from South Asia. From a lion’s share of $29,200, the champion team won $3,600. Moreover, $2,000 and $1,600 were won by the second and third-placed teams respectively. The shares were small compared to previous editions because all the 32 participants from the semi-finals were awarded as well, with the minimum amount as $300.
Conclusion
PMCO features teams from different regions who fight it out against each other to get a slot for PMPL. For the first time, we saw an Australian team come up at the pro scene of PUBG Mobile. So, with teams coming from every corner of the globe, season 4 of the PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) South Asia is all set to watch some immense actions and new powerhouses emerge from the tournament.
