Pokemon GO is celebrating the Festival of Colors with new Events and Rewards

Trainers in Pokemon GO have set out on a new journey as Legendary Pokémon like Regieleki and Regridrago enter the augmented reality game with the launch of Pokemon Go’s Season 10: Rising Heroes. Events like Community Day and a Team Go Rocket Takeover will be among those taking place in March. And now, the Festival of Colors returns for 2023 with Mega Medicham and Bruxish debuting in Pokemon GO during the colorful celebration’s second year.

But prior to those events, Pokemon Go trainers will be celebrating the Hindu festival of Holi. It honors how good prevailed over evil. Trainers from all over the world are welcome to participate in the Festival of Colors event from March 8 through March 14 as we celebrate love and joy.

A variety of Oricorio appeared in various regions of the world when Niantic celebrated the Festival of Colors last year during the Season of Alola. This time, Mega Medicham, who will appear in Mega Raids, will be joined by another vibrant being, Bruxish, the Gnash Teeth Pokémon.

Trainers around the world will be able to take advantage of a few bonuses in this celebration

Since the festival has Indian roots, trainers there would also be eligible for some additional benefits. A growing number of Pokémon can be discovered in the wild. Jigglypuff, Hitmontop, Emolga, Durant, Dedenne, Noibat, and Chimencho are examples of this. Field Research missions will include Unown G and O, and catching Pokémon will awaken everyone by 2x XP.

A few perks will also be available to trainers all around the world. Friendship levels will increase twice as quickly and lure modules that are engaged during the event will last for three hours. Get those cameras ready since taking pictures will also reveal a vibrant surprise.

Players can engage in a few missions throughout the event. The 20,000 XP and a Lure Module from this round’s Collection Challenge will be awarded. Contrarily, Field Research only available during the event will reward players for coming across various Pokémon, like Oricorio, Castform, Burmy, and more. Remember to look at the shop’s unique Avatar items during Holi.
