Recent rumors have come up regarding the fact that the code for Clefairy/Clefable was found in the Pokémon Unite datamine. For the last few days, the speculations on online platforms say that Clefairy might just be the next support Pokemon to be released as the skill icon almost matches the poster given by the official page.
Pokémon Unite datamine: Will Clefairy be the next support Pokémon
Clefable first appeared in Pokémon Unite in the announcement video on June 24th, 2020. Ever since then, it hasn’t been mentioned again or no official news from devs about its release or anything has come out. Some say that the Clefable code was removed and replaced by Wigglytuff. So it can be a fact that we might not see Clefable anytime soon.
On the other hand, some other Pokémon like Blastoise and Gardevoir were in the announcement video who actually came out. So likewise, Clefable can also come out anytime now and we cannot definitively rule out that possibility. Additionally, the announcement from the official page said that they are going to introduce another support Pokémon soon, after the last few releases of Trevenant (defender), Dragonite (all-rounder), and Tsareena (attacker), which makes the possibility of the Clefable release more prominent.
There have been some other questions floating around regarding the fact that Cleffa will be available as the initial stage Pokémon or not as there are no baby Pokémon yet introduced in the game. But fans have to sit back tight until the next confirmed release news to get assured about Clefable.
The excitement is already in the social media such as Twitter and Facebook communities regarding the release of Clefable. Some are really excited about the Fairy-type Pokémon which will be the third in the Pink Puff Trio. Though some fans are expecting other Pokémon to be released, they think that bringing another fairy Pokemon again at this moment is a bit too much.
